The 10 demigods had been facing the herd of monsters for 30 minutes, and a light drizzle of rain had started to fall. They were waiting for the first move. Suddenly, a gorgon charged. Animals and creatures followed, charging.
Leo, who had been training in flexibility with Piper and Calypso, so when he activated his fire, the flips and spins and bends he did were amazing. Jason's back hurt just by watching it.
Will, who had been practicing with Thalia, notched 6 arrows at once and let them go, killing 4 hellhounds and 2 cyclops. He pumped his fist and continued firing, shooting his mark each time.
Thalia kicked and dodged and punched, no end to her power and strength. Monsters were knocked out, falling to the ground. Thalia brought lightning from the sky, charring and electrocuting several. Her enhanced fighting and senses from Ares helped.
Piper had been training by herself, and her amazing acrobatic actions were knocking monsters out and breaking them into dust left and right.
Nico rose several skeletons from the ground, and his army of the dead tackled the monsters. While his army tackled, Nico fought with his Stygian Iron sword, jumping back and forth through the shadows. His energy was draining quickly, but he kept going. He summoned some fries from McDonalds to re-energize. It still baffled Percy how he could get McDonalds with his power from Hestia, but he shook it off.
Speaking about Percy, he was dodging and ducking, wildly throwing punches and kicks. His wild attacks took monsters off guard, and they died quickly. He was so fast, that Frank could barely see what he was doing.
Frank was constantly turning into different animals. He was a bird, then he was a tiger, then he was a bear. It kept going. Eventually, when he needed a break from the transforming, he would punch the monsters and launch several arrows at at time.
Hazel rose several jewels from the ground and, using the pointy ones, stabbed monsters left and right. When monsters tried to attack from behind, she would kick them or spear them with her cavalry sword.
Jason was flying in the sky, dropping several weapons and rocks onto unsuspecting monsters, which killed them or injured them. When he wasn't in the sky he was charging monsters everywhere.
Annabeth was stabbing with her knife and jumping on monsters. Injuring and killing them as often as she could, while also gracefully dodging attacks.
Needless to say, they were winning. Monsters were falling, the yellow powder coating the ground. But they also kept coming.
Will was checking on everyone, making sure they weren't hurt, while also protecting as many of them with his arrows. Eventually, only a few monsters remained.
It was pouring now, and it was getting harder to see. Everyone was soaked. It smelled like monster, and the smell was worse with rain. But they could see three things. The final monsters. Percy groaned.
One of them, was the Minotaur. Flashbacks of Percy's childhood were resurfacing, and they hit worse the farther back his mind went.
He pushed them away. He had to focus.
The other two monsters were an extremely large hellhound, and, unfortunately for Percy's memories, Medusa.
"Finally! I get my revenge!" Medusa hissed, and laughed a horrid laugh.
The Minotaur grunted, as if to say, 'I agree. Let's tear these demigods apart, so we can torture the boy.'
Percy sighed. Guess memories couldn't be helped when your brain likes to look at your entire life of memories.
And with that in mind, he looked at his group of friends and not-so-great friends. They looked back, and nodded. They were ready.
Then they jumped into action, Percy in the front.

A/N: Hey guys! Sorry for the short chapter, I'm hoping the next one will be longer. My dad tested positive for coronavirus, so I'm in quarantine. Hopefully you guys are doing good! Also, should I make some angst? Like, not a whole bunch to overpower the story, but some angst to make it a little more interesting, like Percy's past and a few other things for other characters. Let me know! Also, 1.24k reads?!? I can't thank you guys enough!
