Once you had awoken the next morning, a sudden wave of dread had washed over you. The previous day had been so wonderful and fun, that you almost forgot what awaited you today. The truth. The truth about everything; Shigaraki, the way you'd been feeling these past few days and more. It didn't seem like much when she had requested you tell them all, but when the moment finally arrived, it felt like walking straight into open flames... or explosions.

Kirishima was first to arrive, as expected. He had keys to your house and allowed himself in, greeting your mother with a small bow and a hug. She always loved the redhead— his politeness and golden-retriever like personality made him quite likable.

When his eyes met yours, they beamed with delight. He eagerly walked over and wrapped you in a big bear hug, spinning in circles as he held you. All you could do in return was lay limp in his strong arms and smile awkwardly. Fighting the hug would've been pointless.

After the greeting and a few minutes of casual conversation, you had decided it would be best to tell him now; before you lost the little sense of courage you had left.

The energetic boy placed his hands on his knees and looked over towards you, still beaming like a ray of sunshine. His shark-like teeth showed, and his eyes squinted. You took in the beautiful expression of his before it slowly started to drop, as the words spilled out of you mouth.

In the span of forty minutes, you explained to Kirishima everything. The things regarding you brother, and that you had planned to try and save him. You told him how you'd really felt after the incident— the guilt that had haunted you ever since. Then there were the better things— getting back into guitar, the day you had spent with your mom and how you were starting to feel slightly less upset about the whole ordeal.

After finishing spilling out your guts to your friend, he just sat there. He didn't say anything— which scared you half to death— instead he just stared blankly. You could see the gears turning slowly in his head, right before they clicked in place and all the questions came like a flood.

"Shigaraki, really?! I mean, I was well aware you had a brother, but you always told me he died. You never even told me his name! Is he seriously Shigaraki? That crusty asshole that nearly killed us?" He took a deep breath, and before you could respond, more questions spilled out, "Why did he leave your family? That's so evil... how could he do that? I never liked that bastard anyways... gosh I sound like Bakugou..." you chuckled and he shot you a confused look.

"You're taking this better than I thought you would... I figured you'd storm out in anger." He quirked an eyebrow,
"Me? Angry? I could never be angry at you, Y/n..." his voice trialed off.

You couldn't help but smile at him, never more thankful than now that he was such an understanding person. "It's not his fault though, Kiri. My brother had it rough, especially after discovering his quirk. He ran off one day and we searched for months. We didn't find him and only gave up after hearing that his body had been sighted by the lake in the woods. I guess instead of dying, he was roped into the belief that heroes were the real villains..." you choked on your tears, voice cracking at the thought of what your dear brother might j have gone through. Suddenly an arm wrapped around your shoulder, your eyes meeting Kiris as he pressed his forehead against yours,
"You'll get him back, I know it."

Kirishima had left soon after your talk, saying he had to do something with Kaminari and Sero... that was a scary thought. You waited a bit before both Bakugou and Ashido had arrived. You had decided to tell Bakugou because he was your boyfriend, and you trusted him with your life. You made the decision to tell Ashido because she had become a close friend too, and was always the best with advice. It'd be great to have her around to talk to this about.

Each of them reacted as anticipated. Bakugou shot a thousand questions and insults— mainly insulting your brother— and Ashido was calm, taking the info in very well. It felt amazing to get everything off your chest, and the whole situation seemed a little less horrible.
