It's December now. A little over a month had passed since the incident with Dabi, and you had found yourself growing closer to that hot-headed idiot of a boy. The more time you spent with him, the kinder he seemed-- though if you asked anyone else, his version of nice wasn't very... nice. 

UA was on Winter Break now since it was almost Christmas. A bunch of the UA classes had decided to start decorating; the dorms, the school, and outside of UA buildings. It was probably the most fun you'd had since you joined UA.

Footsteps were heard as a tall figure appeared behind you, their shadow covering your own. Without hesitance, your head whipped around and you flung some garland at them. It only took you a few seconds afterward to realize who you hit, and immediately, you turn and ran.

"Y/N YOU DUMBASS--" Bakugous yelling slowly disappeared as you bolted down the hallway, trying to hide from him as he chased you down the hallway.

Once you finally thought you were safe, you slowed down and looked for somewhere to hide. 'The kitchen!' You thought to yourself, heading over to the small kitchen that sat in the lobby of UA dorms. You bent down and hid behind one of the counters. Letting out a deep breath, you turned your head and froze.

"Gotcha," Bakugou smirked and lunged at you, tackling you to the ground. He started tickling you all over as you let out loud laughing, squirming to get out of his grip.

"Hahaha-- no! hahaha! Let- ha! Me go, haha!" You tried to push him away, but his grip was too tight. 

The two of you were so focused that you hadn't even realized the position you were in... well, not until Kaminari walked in. He peeked over the large box of decorations he held and laughed, "Hey! Get a room you two." He waltzed out of the room, laughing softly.

The two of you froze and realized; that Bakugou was on top of you. You quickly pushed back, Bakugou doing the same. Both of your faces were painted a deep red, completely embarrassed. 

He stood there in silence and shook his head slowly, "Whatever... I wanted to ask you something, idiot." He added his signature insult.

"Hm?"

Bakugou was hesitant, for the first time in forever. He took a deep breath, "Wanna go to the Winter Festival with me?" His cheeks were still pink from earlier... or maybe it was his embarrassment from now... 

A small smile tugged at the corner of your lips, and you nodded slowly, "I'd love to."

His eyes perked up a bit, looking into yours. He looked like he wanted to smile, but didn't. Instead, he just nodded firmly, "Good."

The end of the day had finally come, and everyone settled down into their dorms. You were sitting in Bakugous dorm, playing some Minecraft. The two of you had built a house that Blastly vowed to protect-- thinking that skeletons and spiders would break the house.

"DIE! DUMBASS SPIDER!" His character swung a sword around at a spider that wasn't even remotely close to the house.

Your cheeks puffed up and soon enough you burst out laughing, "BAHAHA!" You dropped the controller and clutched your stomach, laughing hysterically.

"WHAT?! WHAT'S SO FUCKING FUNNY?!" Bakugou's head whipped around, gritting his teeth as he spoke.

After finally calming down a bit, you looked at him and wiped a tear from your eye, "Blasty, spiders can't hurt the house." You chuckled again.

He froze, shaking his head quickly, "I KNEW THAT!" He scoffed, turning back to the game and heading for the house.

The rest of the night flew by, and soon enough you found yourself lying in bed next to a snoring Bakugou. He put on a movie and almost immediately passed out. You looked over at his sleeping face and couldn't help but smile. How could someone so aggressive, look so... peaceful, when sleeping?

A few days had passed, and it was finally time for the Winter Festival. You and the rest of class 1A were all walking through the Winter Festival in 'aw'. Yaomomo and Jirou wandered off to go look at some old records on display-- Mina, Hagakure, and Tsu all went to grab some food. Midoriya was dragged away by Uraraka to take some photos-- Sero, Kaminari, Kirishima, and Mineta all went to check out some random girls. Everyone else just wandered off to enjoy the fun of the festival; you and Bakugou were left alone together. 

The rest of your day consisted of sledding:
"HOW THE HELL DID YOU-- LET'S GO AGAIN!" Bakugou bolted up the hill, ready for another race against you.

Then there were the different rides:
"Blasty, are you... shaking?" You looked over at Bakugou, who was trying hard not to look out the window of the Ferris Wheel.

"I-I'm just cold..." He lied. The dumbass hated Ferris Wheels.

Can't forget the food:
"Bakugouuuu" You ran up to him, holding some Takoyaki. Once you reached him, he opened his mouth to ask something, but instead, you shoved some food in his mouth, "Try it!"

"Mmm-mff...ff-" he started to yell, but eventually gave up and chewed the food. Once he was done chewing, he looked at you with a scowl, "Give me that."

The day was fun, even if you had to stop Bakugou from chasing random kids, telling at the workers there, and blowing up pigeons. You two had also met with some classmates... Denki tried to fix some lights with his quirk but instead short-circuited-- Todoroki tried some ice cream for the first time-- Sato accidentally got hired at some random food stand, and Jirou played some songs for a small crowd.

Finally, the best part of the festival had come. Fireworks. You went over to Bakugou and handed him some Dango, smiling softly. You both looked up at the dark sky, waiting for the first oud boom and bright light. Bakugou turned to look at you, admiring your features. Boy was he in love...

"Y/N."

"Hm?" You turned to him, cheeks stuffed with some Dango. He couldn't help but chuckle a bit.

"I've got something I need to tell you."

You quickly chewed and swallowed the food, looking up at him and laughing softly, "Uh oh..."

"It's... nothing bad-- at least I hope it's not." You froze, not the kind of worried, "Y/N... I like you."

You froze, e/c eyes widening in shock. 'Likes me?' You thought to yourself, wondering if this was a joke or not; but the look on his face told you it wasn't. You let out a breath you hadn't realized you were holding, and smiled, "I like you too, 'ya' damn nerd'" You replied, adding a little joke in there to relieve some tension.

He seemed relieved, shoulders dropping and a small smiling tugging at his lips, "Shit... I've been waiting for those words for too damn long." He left forward, grabbing your chin and kissing your lips softly. This time, it meant something. This time, it was real. 

Fireworks exploded in the background as your lips touched, illuminating your faces with bright colors. You could hear cheers in the background from your classmates, all glad to see you two finally getting together. Seemed like they were waiting for this longer than you.
