Caspian continued to carry me through the halls to a place he could set me down and heal my wound. The arrow had already fallen out of my skin and it was just bleeding, but thankfully the speed of the bleeding had calmed down. We went to the place with all of the drawings of Narnia's Golden Age.
"How's the pain? Did it go down." Caspian asked me.

"It's fine now." I say politely back to him. I was always the one getting hurt and faking growing up, you could say my pain tolerance is pretty high. He wrapped a long piece of cloth around the wound on my left leg and put slight pressure on it. There was a little sting which led me to jerk my leg a little bit.

"Sorry, I'm sorry." He said apologizing for hurting me. Whenever I got hurt as a child Caspian would bandage me up, so my father wouldn't yell at me.

"It's alright. Do what you have to." I say calmly. He continued to put pressure on it and I felt myself become stronger, hopefully the bleeding stopped.

"You so glad of that magic horn now, children?" A voice asked from the other side of the cave. It was Nikabrik, the dwarf. We both turned our heads to him and gave a regretful look at each other.
"Your Kings and Queens have failed us. Your army's have dead. And those that aren't will be soon enough." He said slowly walking towards us both.

"What do you want." Caspian asked.

"A congratulations?" I say with an attitude still sitting on the rock floor.

"You both want your uncles blood. So do we." He said looking straight at Caspian. "You want his throne? We can get it for you." He added. Nikabrik finished his little lecture and walked right by me and Caspian. He looked at me and I knew what he wanted to do, so I got up. It didn't hurt that much and I was able to walk a lot better. I wrapped one arm around Caspian's neck and began to follow him.

"You tried one ancient power. It failed. But there is a power greater still. One that kept even Aslan at bay for near a hundred years." Then there was a faint growl coming from either side of Aslan's broken monument. The growls grew louder and closer as Caspian drew his sword in fear. I let go of Caspian bow having no support and pulled out my sword.

Caspian jogged down the stairs with his sword held high turning his head in all directions waiting for something to spring out. I slowly made my way down the stairs to join him at his side.

"Who's there." Caspian said to whatever those creatures were. Then the growls become louder.

"I am hunger." A deep and intimidating voice said.
"I am thirst." It said. This time revealing it's identity. It was a wolf but also a human. "I can fast a hundred years." It adds. "And not die." It continued to creep closer on Caspians side when I looked over the the corner nearest to me and saw another figure. This wasn't a wolf, I didn't know what it was."

"I can lie a hundred nights on the ice... And not freeze. I can drink a river of blood and not burst." The two figures can closer and closer to Caspian and I. I made sure to hold my sword high as I turned back to Nikabrik, but only got an innocent nod.
"Show me... Your enemies!" It yells loudly taking off its black hood. This scared Caspian since he pulled his sword higher. I continued to look at the figure coming closest to me and I saw a beak, maybe it was some kind of human bird.

"What you hate. So will we." The bird thing said. It sounded like an elderly female. She also took off her black hood showing her green bald head.
"No one hates better than us." She added on.

"And you can... Guarantee Miraz's death." Caspian said to them both. I continued to stare at the bird lady, scared to look away.

"And more." She said bowing down before us. Caspian put away his sword but I wasn't ready too. They were scary and it didn't look we could trust them. But I knew that if I didn't they wouldn't promise us Miraz's death. So I put it back into its case. But I continued to stare through the bird last.

Caspian looked back at Nikabrik and quickly turned back around, nothing said.

"Let the circle be drawn!" The bird lady shouted. She spoke a foreign language that neither Caspian or I could understand. She drew a large circle around me and Caspian. I could only look from the wolf, to Nikabrik, then the bird lady, then concerning to Caspian. But then all attention was drawn to the lady when she pulled out a beautiful two sided sword. She held it up continuing to speak in her unique language starting to increase her voice.

But then she aggressively turned around and fiercely stabbed it into the single rock step. This came to a shock and I couldn't help but jump a bit from the fear. The bird lady backed away from the sword which stayed in place on the step. But when I looked closely ice surrounded the sword and it grew the ice continued to spread like wildfire.

Caspian's eyes widened as the ice spread to the two columns filling the entire little section with ice. Shivers ran down my spine as it grew colder. Caspian's jaw was open in amazement.

But then in the ice was a figure, I couldn't shape anything out and I couldn't tell what exactly it was. Caspian and I were both confused until the ice became thin and revealed none other than the Ice Queen, Jadis. I was in complete fear. I've only heard stories of the powerful White Witch, turning people into stone and almost successfully taking over all of Narnia. She was powerful, too powerful.

"Wait." Caspian said in a shaky and regretful voice.

"This isn't what we wanted." I say concerned. I step back pulling on Caspians shirt making sure he followed me out. But the wolf grabbed Caspian as the bird lady grabbed me holding out our wrists.

"One drop of Adam and Eve's blood and you free me ." Jadis said, she a beautiful and delicate voice.
"Then I am yours, my King and Queen." She added. The bird lady took my hand and dragged her blade across it. I shrieked in pain. Then she walked over to Caspian and did the same dragging her blade across his bare hand.

"No!" Caspian yells in fear. I pull my wounded hand to my chest and clench it tying to decrease the blood flow. The White Witch saw that we both had open and bloody wounds so she stuck her hand through the ice struggling. She looked so innocent I'd almost forgotten all the terrible things she has done. The wolf let go of Caspian and we were both helpless, we looked at the White Witch and took one step closer.

"Stop!" A voice shouted from the hall. Jadis turned her head and saw Peter, Edmund, and Trumpkin. Clashing of swords echoed in the small cave, Grunts of pain and howls screamed out. Caspian and I weren't distracted and slowly made out way to Jadis hand sticking out from the ice.

"Come on!" She said. "Just one drop of your blood and one drop of hers, Caspian." She added. But before we could place a single drop on her hand Peter came and pushed us out of the way. His shoulder hit mine which put me off balance and collapsed onto Caspian, both of us on the ground.

"Get away from them!" Peter yells at Jadis. The White Witch quickly pulled her hand back into the ice, with a fade smile across her face.

"Peter, dear, I've missed you." She said sticking her hand out of the ice once more. "Come." She said.
"Just one drop of yours, and hers." She said looking down at me on the floor next to Caspian.
"You know you can't do this alone." She added.

Peter slowly lowers his sword which scares me. But then all of a sudden a sword flies trough Jadis's stomach from behind. There was no blood but the ice began to crack. I looked at Caspian and we shared a confused look. Who was it? The ice continued to crack and crack until it all shattered. There was a very loud crashing sound and millions of large ice pieces flew out from where she stood. We all looked away and covered our heads avoiding ice pieces to fall on our heads.

Caspian helped me up, I took his hand and he pulled me up by his side. We stood next to Peter staring at... Edmund. Edmund killed Jadis?

"I know. You had it sorted." He said looking at Peter.
Then he walked off without another word. Caspian turned to share a look with Susan, but she walked away. Which left me, Caspian, and Peter in silence.
