your mother would make no use of it now, best return it to its owner. the camera did look dated, far different from the ones you have come across in your time, looks like it could possibly be from the 60's. whoever this "kim seungmin" is, they must love collecting antiques just like your mother. you placed it your back, wrapping a spare handkerchief around the lens as not to damage it during your travels. you sighed heavily, there were so many memories shoved carelessly into this attic, memories of your childhood, memories of your mother. her aura was strong in this house, it was almost as if she was in the room with you.with a shaky breath and teary eyes, you bid farewell to your childhood home, the moon had already settled in the sky, nestled in among the heavy rain clouds, storming, grey and angry, about to burst with salty tears of rain. you hurried back to your car, the rain beginning to pour just as you took your seat, a loud clap of thunder rattled your bones with slight shock, a sign to be cautious. you settled your back beside you in the passenger seat, the camera peeking out from the inside, even though through it covered lens, you somehow could feel as it if was staring back at you, it's eye staring through the windows of yours.
nevertheless you continued on home, the road was slick with rainfall so the drive took at least twenty minutes longer than usual. by then the rain had been angered, two more claps of thunder rang through the sky just as you entered your driveway, followed by a strike of lightning, lighting up the sea of black above you, feeling and sounding far too close for comfort. you grabbed your bag from the passenger seat, clutching it you your chest like a newborn child as you unlocked your door.
you would begin your search for this "kim seungmin" or whoever they may be in the morning. you pulled out the camera from you bag, removing the handkerchief from the lens examining it once more. it seemed to be still in good condition, no cracks or dents anywhere to be found. you opened up the back ever so carefully, there was still a roll of film left in it. you contemplated whether you should take a photo or not to see if it still works properly, you wouldn't want to return a broken camera to its owner.
