A little boy grabbed his mothers hand in fear while approaching the twelve thrones in front of him. On those thrones sat the twelve Princes and Princess of the kingdom. Each one of them represented the zodiac signs that looked over and ruled the kingdom. The little boy looked up only to meet the scowling auburn eyes of Princess Lyla herself. Fear washed into the boy's eyes while her gaze seemed to burn through his skull leaving nothing but a gaping hole in its wake.

"Speak" Her voice echoed through the throne room, her tone itself enough for his mothers hand to shake and grip his even tighter.

"Your grace we were sent here for a trial, my son stole something from the local shops and-"

"Silence" Princess Lyla's voice yet again filling the room. "This seems like a matter that Opal needs to handle" She glanced over at her sister next to her the mother and son pair then glancing over at Princess Opal, her gaze already fixated on them as she was deciding the boy's fate.

"Ma'am how old is your son?" Her voice was light like a feather and floated around them easing the tension her sister had created.

"Almost ten your grace" The boy looked away from Opal to see Prince Zeke leaning over into Princess Lyla's ear, he noticed the look in her eyes change from an ordinary scowl to a look of pure fury. He then looked back at Princess Opal hoping if he just looked away and ignored her presence she would simply disappear.

"I'm guessing this is his first offence Miss?"

"Yes your grace"

"Well then due to his age and this being his first offence I've decided to let this one go in hopes that the fear of coming back into this room will make him stay on the correct path" The boys mother started to cry as she spewed out thank you's and apologizes for having to be there in the first place.

"Wait" Everyone turned in surprise and looked at the young Princess Lyla as she stood up from her throne. "I don't understand why your simply letting this go sister, if a man instead of this boy had walked into this building with the same offense you would have thrown him into the dungeons or cut off his hand, why should this boy get a free pass just because of age?"

"Sister this is none of your concern we've both agreed that I am the one who decides these things I don't understand how as of late you've starting having a problem with how I do things"

As the sisters continued to argue the boy looked over to see the young prince watching his sisters argue with a smile on his face, he didn't understand how he could get enjoyment out of this.

"Ma'am you and your son are dismissed my ruling remains the same"

"Sister how can you deny my words like this I-"

"Lyla sit down please we will speak upon this at a later date"

Lyla sat down her anger starting to pour out of her body and into the room, the boy watched as Zeke yet again leaned in and started whispering into his sisters ear.
