Day 105
Afternoon

"Looks like I've overslept." I fumble out of bed, still feeling tired and groggy. After what happened last night, we got home really late. Suprisingly, everyone was still up at the time we returned. Dante and Lucia bitch had left right after.

The light that peeked through my window was warm and blinding. Unusually blinding. Sketchy in fact.
It was probably Luca practicing his magic like usual. I haven't seen him since, I should probably say hi.

I walk over to the windows and push them open to see the white haired mage practicing some spells. "Hellooo, Luca!"

"Riselle. Good afternoon." He greeted with a dim smile. To me he looked like he wasn't in a good mood. Kinda like the face he had when I first met him. "Can you come to the library in a bit?"

"What for?"

"Late birthday gift."

"Hmm alright." I exhale softly. Luca's got me something nice, bet!

On my way the mage's personal library I was met with a familiar scent. Well I wouldn't say it's familiar but if I were to describe it, sweet but makes me even more drowsy than I already am. I feel like I've read about this kind of smell somewhere.

I continued down the hall mindlessly despite the scent growing stronger, and once I reach the library it was at it's strongest. "Is he experimenting... Or something?" I mumble, pushing open the door.

As if untouched for ages, all books were arranged on the shelf neatly, and on the table I immediately recognize the Cape Jasmin flowers. The scent was too powerful, most definitely Luca's doing. Oh but he wasn't inside of the library. What could that moody beautiful mans be doing experimenting with a flower like this then just leaving them? A few more minutes and I'm about to fall unconscious.

"Suprise suprise.~" Luca's chilly breath greets the bare skin of my neck while his slender fingers push me into the sweet smelling room. He shuts the door behind me right after.

Instead of running back to the door and trying to open it- which I know would be futile, I take a seat behind the mage's desk and observe the flowers. I was most definitely confused with why he shoved me here, but my guess is that he just has a big suprise planned. Though why use such an unconventional method to render me unconscious?

I didn't bother to fight the heavy feeling urging me to fall into a state of slumber. But as my eyes shut, I wondered what the suprise might be. Guess I'm just too tired to think of anything now.

A pigeon filled with life was perched on a tree after a long travel to foreign lands filled with riches to the avifauna. It came to rest before moving onto it's next adventure.

It's beautiful feathers, the hues of calming greys and fading whites looked like vibrant rainbows to the tree that stood proudly as a custiodian to the many fauna nature has given. But the tree whose roots absorped the greys and monochrome spectrum became like a malnourished fawn.

In one story, the pigeon managed to flee the corrupted tree after a saviour came and chopped it off.

And in another one, the pigeon and tree became once against the avian's will and thus never was able to travel again.

"That was an odd dream."

"Wait I can't move?"

"Am I even speaking right now or are these the thoughts in my head?"

Everything was black, and I couldn't feel a thing. After a weird dream of a pigeon and tree that I don't know-? Became one? It appears my body decided to become one with my conscience. I know living is shitty but did I really have to do this to myself? I never manifested something so odd!

"Luca! Luca I know this is your doing!"

That cruel mage! Don't tell me his suprise was putting me through some weird simulation! Seeing absolutely nothing and hearing my own thoughts isn't very comfortable.

It feels like I've been reduced to nothing and I really dislike it! I wonder if this is what death is like. But wouldn't I be like, dead then? I know it's better than a painful death but I still don't want to die too soon! "Grim reaper come out and fight me! If I win I'm taking my life back and your ability to reap souls with me!" I scream off into the emptiness. Heck my voice didn't even echo here.

"You aren't dead you idiot." I hear the voice of the idiot that got me like this. That has the audacity to call me the idiot.

"Luca? Luca I knew you were behind this! Get me out of this spell or I swear I'll learn black magic just to get back at you!"

"Go ahead and try. I'm pretty sure in that black conscience of yours you'll be able to pull it off." I could hear him sneer. And I swear I could see him saying that with a smug, cocky grin. Honestly him and the prince can be so similar sometimes. If they interacted more, I could confirm my idea of them sharing one braincell! "Oh and do not fret. We'll reach the suprise soon."

"Soon? Just how long has it been anyways."

"About over three days."

"Three days?!" I gasp. "Where in the world are we heading too?"

"My special place in the kingdom of Acullis. You aren't going to ask why I put you asleep for a whole three days?"

"Oh yeah- so why'd you do that?"

"Idiot."

"Mean Luca." You should be greatfulI have enough patience to ask you one question at a time! Of course I wonder why they hell we're going somewhere so far and you held me unconscious for multiple days! "Where's everyone else?" I ask.

"Back at the castle. It's just you and I right now."

"Huh. And they know about this?"

"Yeah."

Still sketchy, but alright.
