We arrived at the palace of Acullis, everywhere outside the murky old house Luca made me stay in felt so foreign. I missed the sky, grass- I wanted to touch grass. Except if I were to do that now the guards accompanying us would give me weird looks.

Ever since we left his place, he was gritting his teeth, hands clenched. And when Rowan said he knows where we are, he really meant it. I shouldn't have been shocked to see the guards standing outside the house the moment we opened the door.

It didn't help that they all had stern expressions, any odd movement and their eyes would pin you down with cautious glares.

Now that we're here, inside the castle, before us seated a little too relaxed on a single lone chair was the prince of Acullis. Just like in the photograph, his hair was neck length, wavy and golden like a lion's mane, very fitting for his name.

His arm rested on side of the chair, his fingertips resting on his chin. It reminded me of a certain someone, very cocky and smug. But for someone who is being held a captive in his own castle, I don't know why he'd be grinning like that. Mister cocky prince number two seems to have a bigger ego than Rowan.

I glance around the room, only then realizing how dimly lit it was and noticing Rowan wasn't here either. The guards left and only three of us remained here in awkward silence.

"Oh Luca. Look at you." Prince Leon chuckled with exaggeration. "We don't even see each other any more yet you bring me trouble."

I awkwardly looked from the prince, to Luca. This was definitely a conversation I didn't want to be in, It felt like being in the middle of a lovers spat and nobody wants that.

"You better hand the girl over now. Acullis is not going to waste time and resources in a war caused by a man from his own kingdom fighting with another prince over a woman."

"Acullis can burn in hell." Luca spat. "Or I can be the one to burn it."

"Are you really alright with that? If Acullis goes down, then so do I."

"I don't give a damn!"

Prince Leon sighed and stood up from his seat. I distanced myself from the furious mage for who knows he might just burn this place and burn me down with it.

The prince walked forward and reached out to touch Luca's face. Pulling him closer and kissing him.

Taking it as a chance to slip away, I turn around telling myself I saw nothing and rushed to the exit where two guards halted me.

"The reason I'm here is to be returned to the Prince of Elleris right? Can't I just be brought to him now!?" I panicked in my speech. No longer didn't I want to be in the middle of the argument between Luca and prince Leon, I just wanted to return to Elleris now. See Rowan, Adria, Aunt Aline, everyone but that damned miss bitch Lucia.

"I'm glad you know who you belong to." A sinister voice rises from the shadows, and there was Rowan walking towards me with his arms open, the guards quickly retreat.

"Rowan!" I feel the weight of my own body turn into nothing and I run into his arms. The suddenness of everything going on right now left me too surprised to feel and sad emotions, just joy that I get to see him again.

"I'm sorry I took so long, Finding where Luca kept you was tricky." He told me with a soft voice.

"It's fine, you're here with me now."

I let go of Rowan and he stepped forward, into the room where Luca and the Prince of Acullis were. Luca was on the floor looking helpless and prince Leon had returned to his seat

"It's unfortunate I have to kill such a talented mage." Rowan unsheathed his sword that rested at his side.

"Wait you're going to kill him?" Even if I was beyond upset for what Luca had done, I didn't want him to be killed. Because he was still a friend, and I shared a lot of good moments with him in the past.

"This isn't what we agreed to, Quentin." Leon raised a brow. "Our agreement is that you'd get the girl back and I'd hold Luca in a special chamber."

"He's too dangerous to be kept alive."

"You can see how helpless he is as long as I'm alive."

"You underestimate me." Luca looked bitterly at Prince Leon, and then he turned to me. "Take care Riselle, have a fruitful future."

"What are you talking about? I'll come back to see you sometime! What you did was an asshole move but I still cherish your friendship."

Luca shook his head. "It was over for me when I got caught in an unhealthy love that I can't get over. I'm going to die now, and take Leon with me."

"That's ridiculous! Not everything in life revolves around love-"

"I've tried everything to forget Leon! He's a fine prince, but a horrible person. He tortures me... Torturing me. I hate you... I hate you so much but I love you that much, so you're going to die with me.

Rowan returned his sword, Prince Leon narrowed his eyes at Luca, and I stood there feeling upset I couldn't do anything.

"I didn't think you'd actually resort to such a method." The golden haired prince once again stood from his chair and sat down by Luca, wrapping his arms around him.

"Let's go." Rowan took my hand and dragged me out of the room. I didn't get to see their final moments, but it seemed like something they both wished for.

"What's going to happen to Acullis now?" I ask.

"A time of mourning after the prince passes. It wouldn't be much of an issue afterwards because they already have someone more than capable of taking on the crown."

"And who is that?"

"Annette Von Weber."

"Miss Annette?" I gasp. She does seem like a very capable and composed lady.

I turn back one last time and bid my silent farewell to Luca and Prince Leon.
