🎄Christmas 2 - Dinner

A/N: Like mentioned last chapter, this is part of a series of stories but can be read as their own stories as well. Like they take place on the same timeline, but it is not necessary to read one after the other. Hope that makes sense it's late and I'm tired but got energy to write this. ALSO this takes place on Christmas Eve

"Naruto listen, we have the Konoha 9, Lee, Neji, Tenten, Gai, Sai, and Kakashi coming over as well as Iruka who's popping by and Lady Tsunade. That's 17 total people. Now, we're making mashed potatoes and cookies. Sakura and Ino are bringing salad. Kakashi is bringing I believe lamb. Tenten and Neji have some sauce to bring. And I know that Hinata and Kiba are bringing the turkey. What I need from you is to get potatoes and heavy cream. Got it?" (A/N um this is like a mix of my family's Christmas and thanksgiving dinners. Like they greatly overlap. I don't know what other people eat so this is from my personal experience.)

Naruto nodded "Potatoes and heavy cream. Um these potatoes are big right?"

"Yeah. Now go. You're gonna help decorate the cookies I'm making." As Sasuke said that, he began making dough into shapes.

Naruto walked a few blocks to the market and once there he ran into Ino.

"Hey Naurto! Whatcha doing?"

"Oh, hey Ino. Sasuke wanted me to get potatoes and heavy cream for mashed potatoes for tonight's dinner. What's up with you?"

"Nothing much. Sakura moved in though which was nice. Our current apartment is above the flower shop."

"Nice. I'm glad you two are doing well. Anyway, we can talk more tonight, but I gotta get this stuff before Sasuke's cookies are done or he won't let me decorate them."

Ino laughed a bit before saying "Yes! Assumes cookies are the best. You better hurry. See you soon!"

"Sasuke I got them!" Naruto yelled as we walked through the door

"Great. Bring them over and I'll start and you decorate the cookies."

The house was happy. Christmas music played, the oven was on with a lovely smell of cookies. Naruto giggled as he made a gingerbread cookie for each of his friends.
