Grom Fright

Today is the day.

Luz noticed Amity was acting not like her usual self, Luz tried to ask yet she just gave her a simple smile assuring that she's fine.

But despite that, Luz just couldn't accept that answer.

Luz's POV

I was talking with Boscha when suddenly Willow interupped.

"Uh, Luz have you seen Amity?"She asked.

"Not really,did something happenend?"I said.

"Nothing, just nevermind."Willow said and left.

"I knew it, maybe Amity won't come."Boscha said.

As Boscha continued to laugh by herself, I sighed and started to look for Amity insted.

"This couldn't be, Grom is tonight she can't be missing."

As I was looking around, I went to the library there I finally find her hiding one of the bookshelfs.

"Could I borrow a book?"I said.

"Ahhhh! Luz, what are you doing here?"Amity asked.

"Well, Willow was looking for you...so I decided to help."I said while looking away.

"Typical Willow, you know I'm not really hiding rather I'm studying."Amity looking at the books.

"Why do you need to study for?" I asked.

"I just really don't know how to beat Gromethous."Amity said rubbing her head.

"Who's Gromethous?"I said looking confused.

Amity chuckled and said.

"Right, this is your first time in the boiling isles, I'll tell you then."

Me and Amity talked all day until finally it was getting kinda late.

"I guess we should hurry and dress up right?"I asked.

"Right, well whatever, I'll face him with all my courage."Amity said with a smile.

"You know what Blight, I know you could beat that thing."I assured her.

Finally Amity stood up and helped me up, we walked outside and was about to go and dress up.

"Let's meet up then okay, later Luz."Amity waved goodbye.

I waved back but, suddenly I felt like my heart stopped.

"I have to tell her."

Amity's POV

Finally the night has begun, fancy and scary decorations were everywhere, the dim lights made the atmosphere better.

After the pep talk with Luz I was ready to be Grom Queen.

"You got this Amity,You'll do great."

I was walking along the hallways, I couldn't help but to feel scared yet, safe.

As I was getting close, there I saw Luz she was all dressed up but,her hair was all spiked up unlike her usual hair.

"Hey Luz, you look great."I said.

Luz was startled and I noticed a piece of paper she quickly hide from her pocket.

"Oh, thanks y-you t-too, uh...you know you're just in time!"Luz said as she pulled me inside.

There we had a couple of drinks with Willow, Gus,and Boscha when finally it was time.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, presenting our Grom Queen, Amity Blight!"

The lights were all in my direction, everyone cheered for I waved at them when I was startled when someone held my hand.

"Luz?! What is it?"

Luz looked nervous, she then sighed.

"Um...I-I'll be here for you."

I smiled and gave her a thumbs and was ready to be Groom Queen.
