Shen Yue, sitting on the soft bed of her hotel room, kept staring at the cell phone she was holding in her hands. It wasn't hers... It was Wang He Di's.
An hour earlier, while she and the other cast members of Meteor Garden were dining, her mother had called Wang He Di because she couldn't reach Yue. That's right, her mother had Dylan's number.
She knew how distracted her daughter was and how many times she forgot her phone at the hotel or somewhere else, so she forced Yue to ask permission for the boy to leave her his phone number.
So Dylan, sitting next to her, gave her his cell phone with a grin and she got up from the table and she went out to answer the call.
When she got back into the hotel restaurant, she put his phone in her pocket and forgot to give it back to Dylan.
She was sure he didn't ask it back out of politeness, and that made her blush.
Why was she always so careless?!
By now it was late, it was past midnight... She certainly could not bring it in his hotel room at that time!
But... it wasn't right to keep it... she felt guilty.
"Don't be silly, Shen Yue. You'll give it back in the morning. That's the first thing you'll do as soon as you wake up," she said to herself.
But the cell phone screen kept on glowing, signaling some notifications, and she just couldn't ignore it.
Maybe his family had written to him... Or maybe some of his friends...
And if he felt sick during the night? He was stupid, he probably wouldn't have thought of using the phone in every room of the hotel!
Tired of thinking, she suddenly got out of bed, put on her slippers and left the room.
She looked around, hoping no one would see her sneaking around the hotel hallways.
As soon as she arrived at Wang He Di's door, she knocked softly.
She tried to insist, but she received no response.
He was probably asleep.
She decided it was better to go back.
But before she left, she instinctively put a hand on the handle and the door opened.
"What an idiot! He forgot to close it!" she whispered, upset.
She went into the room... The lights were still on.
She looked around and realized that Wang He Di was sitting at a small table in the corner of the room and he was sleeping with his head resting on it. Yue approached slowly and as soon as her eyes settled on his sleeping face, her heart melted. He seemed so strangely quiet... She was used to an energetic, playful, silly, hyperactive Didi, unable to stand still for more than five seconds.
