Travis' POV:
Today is saturday, and Emmett and I are meeting Jack and Vic so that we can go get stuff for Hartley's room and new clothes for her before she moves in tomorrow. We get to the store and wait in the front for them. They walk up to us together.
Vic: Hey guys. Ready?
Travis: Yep.
We all grab carts and head off to the clothing section of Target. We all stop and look at Vic, I have no clue how to shop for girl's clothing.
Vic: What?
Emmett: What do we get?
Travis: Do we know her size? In anything?
Vic: Lucky for you, I went into your guys' house last time she stayed over while you were at dinner and found her size. Extra small in everything, and size 6 for shoes. She really needs new shoes.
Emmett: How did you get into our house?
Vic: You need to learn to lock your door. People could break in.
Travis: Like you just did?
Vic: Ye-no, hey, this is cute!
We all laugh as Vic puts a red sweater into the cart. We look around for another hour, picking up everything we find in her size that we think she would like. Eventually we have enough clothes, so we decide to go over to the home decor section. Jack walks up while we're walking away and puts three shoe boxes in the cart.
Jack: New converse, nikes, and a pair of heeled boots. She once told me she wished she had some so she could be taller.
Travis: Cool, she'll love those. What do you guys think we should get for her room?
Emmett: New bedding, some shelves, probably some picture frames.
Travis: Alright. Spread out, guys. We've gotta get all the stuff set up by the time she gets there tomorrow.
We go around the area for a couple more hours, ending up with five picture frames, white bedding with yellow throw pillows, a stack of shelves for the wall, and various other decorations. Before we go to the checkout, I make sure to grab a stuffed bear and put it in the cart.
Vic: Teddy bear? She's 16.
Travis: I know, but I figured she probably never got one as a kid.
Vic: Aw Trav, that's really sweet.
When we get to the register, Jack stops me from handing my credit card to the cashier, and he hands him a blue card.
Travis: Gibson, what are you doing?
Jack(taking the card back): Dean gave me his card and told me to not let you two pay for anything today.
We all start loading the bags into our cars.
Emmett: Why? That's so generous.
Jack: He wants to do something nice for Hartley, and you guys. And since his parents started giving him money again, he can afford it.
Travis(getting into the car): We'll make sure to thank him. A lot. Now come on, guys. This room's not gonna furnish itself.
*time skip 3 hours*
By the time we get everything setup it's 8pm. Vic and Jack wish us luck and leave, so Emmett and I order pizza and watch a movie before going to bed.
Hartley's POV:
Today's the day I move in with Travis and Emmett for good. Andrew, Margaret and I wake up early to finish packing the rest of my stuff before we go to our favorite restaurant for our final breakfast together. We pull up to their house at around 11. They open the door before I can even knock. Margaret and Andrew put the rest of my boxes on the porch. I turn around to face them.
