Third Person POV:

Hartley turns around when he says her name.

Hartley: T-Travis?

They stand frozen for a minute, staring at each other, until Travis bursts into tears and runs to her, grabbing her in his arms as tight as he can. She hugs him back, burying her face in his shoulder, her tears staining his shirt. Jack, Vic, Maya, and Dean walk down the stairs to see what was going on. Dean clears his throat. Travis and Hartley separate, each wiping their eyes, and turn to face the others.

Dean: Montgomery, who's this?

Travis: Oh, right. Um, guys, this is my little sister, Hartley. Hartley, this is Jack, Dean, Maya, and you've met Vic.

Hartley: Hi. It's so nice to meet all of you.

Vic(choked up): She's so nice. And she looks just like you. I'm sorry, I'm just so happy for you guys.

Vic walks over and hugs Hartley, who immediately hugs back. Vic pulls away after a few seconds and stares at Hartley before looking back up to Travis.

Vic: She's got your eyes, Trav. Bright and kind.

Travis and Hartley look at each other and smile. He pulls her into a side hug as Emmett, Sullivan, and Andy enter from the workout room.

Jack: Wait, I'm confused, how come you never mentioned having a sister?

Travis: I'll explain everything upstairs.

Travis' POV:

I can't believe she's actually here. And she looks like me. We all file into the beanery, and everyone except for me and Hartley takes a seat.

Sullivan: Montgomery, please explain.

Travis: Well, um, when I was 16, my- our mom had an affair, which resulted in Hartley here. But, she didn't want people to question why she didn't look like my dad, so she put her into foster care. I've been trying to find her for years, and a few weeks ago her foster dad called me and said she wanted to meet me, so I told her to come here today, and yeah. So she's my sister. Questions?

Dean: Yeah, why didn't you tell us she existed? Just curious.

Travis: Well, until her foster dad contacted me I thought she didn't want anything to do with me because I couldn't keep her in the family. Which I am so sorry about, Hartley.

Hartley: You tried your best. And I'm here now. And I was never mad at you, none of my other foster parents let me have contact with you. I tried for years.

Her words break my heart. I pull her into my side again and keep my arm around her.

Jack: I was a foster kid too. Some of those parents suck.

Hartley(laughing): Oh definitely. Especially the ones who keep insisting you can call them mom and dad. Annoying.

Jack and Hartley laugh.

Jack: I like this kid, Montgomery. Good kid.

Travis: Yeah, she is.

Emmett(walking towards her): Hi, I'm Emmett. It's really nice to meet you.

Hartley: You too.

Travis: Emmett is, um, my, boyfriend.

Hartley: You're gay?

I nod slowly.

Hartley: And you're dating him?

We both nod this time.
