TW// death, blood, murder, brutal scenes
Xisuma loved to go to a small water well he'd found just on the outskirts of the shopping district. It was very lovely, small flowers blooming around the smooth, stone base.
He went nearly every day, as soon as he had the chance. Nobody else knew about it, it was just his little secret.
He didn't see the harm in it. It was just a well, nothing dangerous. Sure, it was a bit old and sure it had popped up out of nowhere, but that didn't mean it wasn't peaceful to be around.
One day Xisuma was thinking, and decided that he wanted nobody to find the well. It was his and his only. Sure if someone did find it, he might just.. shoo them away. He'd just have to trust them to keep the well a secret.
Every day when he went to the well, he always brought a diamond. He dropped the diamond into the well, watching the water ripple as the gem made a small splash on the surface.
Xisuma realized that this had the opportunity to be a wishing well. So now every time he brought the well his diamond gift, he sometimes whispered a wish as he dropped the diamond.
To be honest, it was a nice way to get away from all his duties as the admin of the server. He wasn't always busy, but sometimes he just felt stressed out.
The admin hummed softly to himself as he walked down the trail that led to his wishing well. He could practically sense something was wrong, so he picked up the pace.
He rounded the corner and saw one of the hermits peering into the well, leaning over the side and staring into it. This hermit happened to be Grian.
Xisuma stiffened as he saw Grian's hands on the walls of the well. He felt his hands ball up into a fist, an overwhelming protectiveness bubbling up inside him.
"Hey Grian~" Xisuma hummed as he took a few steps toward the hermit.
"Oh! Hi, X!" Grian greeted, looking up from the well. His eyes shined with innocence, unknowing.
Xisuma glanced back at the well, which was practically pleading to him to get rid of Grian. He looked back at the red-sweatered male, reaching behind his back to pull out his sword.
"You know this is my well, right, Grian?" Xisuma laughed softly, glaring at the boy.
"Oh, you built this?" Grian asked, looking back at the well. Xisuma drew his sword, wrapping his hands around the handle and advancing toward Grian, lifting the sword just over Xisuma's head.
Without a word, Xisuma plunged the sword deep into Grian's back. The hermit gasped, beginning to choke on his own blood. He grabbed the dying males shoulder and pulled him away from the well, shoving him onto the ground. He raised the sword again and this time stabbed his chest, finishing him off for good.
Xisuma retracted the sword, staring down at Grian's dead, bleeding body before turning back to the well, smiling.
"I'm so sorry," Xisuma whispered to it. "I have your diamond."
He turned back around, walking away for the day.

Xisuma was by the well when he heard a gasp behind him. He turned around and saw Stress staring at Grian's dead, decaying body, eyes wide in horror.
"Why are you here?" Xisuma asked calmly, heaving himself off of the wells walls and turning, slowly walking toward her.
She looked over at him, hands covering her mouth.
"Did you do this?" Stress demanded, pointing at Grian.
"Yes," Xisuma nodded simply, this time pulling out his axe.
Stress stared at him, backing away as he moved forward. She was trembling under his emotionless gaze, feeding into his protective spirit.
"You found my wishing well," Xisuma stated flatly. He raised the axe, grabbing onto Stress's arm as she turned to try and run. "You cannot handle this information."
He swung the axe down, hitting her directly in the shoulder. She screamed, of course, but Xisuma pulled her back, sending her tumbling the opposite way and onto the ground.
He twirled the bloodied axe in his hands before swinging it to the side, this time impaling her directly in the gut.
Stress choked for a few moments, gasping for breath and pleading for help before finally slumping over and going limp.

Xisuma returned to the well, humming quietly to himself. He stepped over the dead bodies of the hermits, who were now rotting and decaying around his wishing well.
Nearly everybody on the server was dead. They'd found his secret, and he had to protect it. It's what anybody would do.
He wasn't in the wrong here. It was Xisuma's wishing well, of course he would protect it. Sure, it was kind of frustrating and horrific to wipe blood off of the stone surface of the well, but hey, it was worth it to keep his wishing well nice and clean.
The pleasant garden around his wishing well had become a literal graveyard. Xisuma never bothered to get rid of the bodies. Xisuma had better things to do.
Xisuma leaned on the surface of the well, looking down into the water and his reflection. His eyes were wide and terrified, banging on the barrier that kept him trapped in the reflection. Xisuma smiled at his hopeless efforts of escape.
Xisuma's wishing well was here to stay. Xisuma's little secret.
