A/N: I wanted to try something different, instead of writing a prologue, I wanted to use a newspaper clipping which announced the start of World War II (WWII), so I decided to make a separate chapter for the epigraph. This image was to set up the backstory as it's mentioned in the summary that the letter is from the 1940's - during WWII.
