It's already a month away from his so called wedding and he haven't set eyes on his bride to be, the last time he saw her was the day their grandmother announced their marriage,the plan is the nikah will take place and it'll be strictly low-key just close family,because forced marriage is against their family tradition.
"Assalamu alaikum" a maid salam.
"Yarima Hajiya babba wants to see you in her main chamber" they all referred to Amma as hajiya babba,that's what everyone in the palace called her.
"Gani nan zuwa (I'm coming)" he dismiss her and she left.
He put his jallabiya on top of his singlet and sauntered out.
"Barka da wuni Hajiya Babba (good evening)"
"Ikon Allah, yau kuma nice Hajiya Babba(So today I'm the one you're referring to as Hajiya Babba)" she glared at him.
"See I'm not canceling this marriage and even if I die today I dare you to stopped it" she said gracefully.
"Well I'm not asking you to" he smirked, which made her to stare at him for a while trying to figure out what he's planning in his head.
"Hope you're not planning something stupid" she glared at him more.
"Not at all tsohuwa" he smirked even more.
"Well, you should go and meet your beautiful bride on Friday,and I dare you to do something stupid"
"Anything for sarauniyar zaki" he bowed teasingly and hurriedly went out.
His phone rang and he brought it out of his pocket, it was Asad that's calling.
"What's up" he said immediately after receiving the call.
"Nothing, what going on" he asked referring to his arrange marriage, if it's left to him he'll ask Hammad to go ahead with the marriage, the girl ain't bad at all.
"Well it's okay for now,wetin man go do"he shrugged as if he'll see him through the phone.
"Me and Sadeeq are planning on coming over tomorrow,are you in still in katsina " Asad asked.
"Yes, you guys would even escort me to daura, Amma said I should go visit my beautiful bride" he said in Amma's tone and they all burst into fits of laughter.
"Better then,angon Tasneem noor" Asad teased
"You said? Let remember you that you're talking to the future king so watch your words" he said majestically,even though they both knew that he's just joking.
Asad was also the crowned prince of Kano, which meant their kingdom is even above Katsina's.
"Tuba nike Mai martaba" Asad said mockingly and they both laugh.
Zazzau Emir palace
Jamal can't literally keep calm since when he found out that Tasneem is getting married,and that too to nobody but his close friend Hammad. He heard that the marriage is a secret one and he only found out because Hammad can't hide a thing from him because of how close they are.
Now all Jamal could think of is how he mess up big time,why didn't he confessed his love to her,he stalks her everyday since they're both staying in London,but he never allowed her to notice him.
There was a time he went to visit his sisters in Portsmouth and they followed him to London claiming that they missed Tasneem and he took them but he never let her notice him which he's now regretting, even zarah and mims had told him that she had a crush on him, but what did he did? he played the hard guy which he's now regretting.'if only' is the only thing running in his mind right now,low-key he wanted the marriage to get canceled since he found out that Hammad wasn't even interested in the whole marriage,after all she's only his to love.
Daura palace,
Ammar hasn't been himself since when Tasneem's wedding date had been fix,he didn't want his sister to end up in a loveless marriage where she won't be appreciated nor loved,he wanted all his sisters to be happy, he wouldn't have any doubts about Tasneem getting married to Hammad but after hearing what she'd gone through when she was in London in the hands of Hammad he can't actually keep calm.
"Hamma Ammar!!!" Tasneem called for the nth time.
"Tee What again"he groaned.
"Adda Mamah wanted to talk to you" she said handing him her phone and lay down beside him on his bed as he seat up to pick the call.
One thing about Adda mamah And Adda suhayla is they don't get along with Anty mairo and her sister,so that's why she called to warned him against going to see Anty mairo's daughter saying that she can bewitch him and makes him fall for the girl and he couldn't agree more.
Sultan palace,sokoto
Sameer Sluggishly enter his mother's main chamber(queen's chamber),he really need to have some words with her.
"Barka da wuni gwaggo"he bowed and greeted his queen mother,she's the first wife of his father and his first love but due to traditions he have to add a wife or two after the kings Father passed out and the throne was given to his father,this is what everyone in the palace called her with, but her children often call her Mama.
"Barka dai Sameer" she answered as she massage his head that's now on his lap,he liked it when she does that.
"Mama about that Safna girl,I'd searched anywhere in this city but still there's no trace of her and some people said she disappeared a day to her nikah" he sighed with worry lines masking up his face.
"You see, the girl even lacked manners ,how could she disappeared a day to her marriage, even if you'd found her there's no way you're marrying her, as the heir to the throne you've to get married to a royal mannered lady that'll help you in ruling the people not a runaway bride!" she deadpanned,while he felt a pang in his chest, he didn't want imagine his life without her.
This past year was a hectic one,spending the year in Manchester as he managed his father's business and his MBA not to forget this mystery girl that refused to leave his mind even for a sec.

Sadeeq stared at the stack of files in front of him as he got lost in his world of fantasy thinking of the possible and the impossible.
"Sadeeq maikudi!" Asad called his name for the nth time now succeeding in bringing him out of his reverie.
"Why do you like disturbing my life,what do you want this time around" he glared at Asad that's now seated on the couch across him.
"Well thank God for having me,Let's go grab some food"
"Acici I'm not in the mood so shoo"
"Not the S girl again, I bet she didn't even know you're doing this and you're here trying to cause yourself a hypertension" he hissed
"I'm Sadeeq Mai kudi And I don't talk twice, so this is a bet I'll get her man!" he dusted his shoulder.
"We shall see then"Asad smirked.
