What do you do with your back up against a wall?
I have this sinking feeling that you would just stay there and let shit happen.
But if I come around that shit is dead, I'm gone make sure you move.

"Yo what's up neighbor!"
I looked around confused, I just came out here for the mail I wasn't really expecting any extra attention while looking like death this early in the morning. But nonetheless I hesitantly looked up from the stack of cluttered mail in my hand to see none other than Oscar.
I waved while squinting slightly. "Good morning!" I figured I should be more welcoming. " How are you?!" I felt a little embarrassed to be shouting this early in the morning but I figured if he didn't care the I wouldn't care either.
You could tell the sun was really bothering him based on his intense squint. I mean the sun was specifically beaming on his house out of the entire neighborhood. I just felt bad if the sun was like that for them all the time. I mean at least since I've been here I've noticed the occupants I'm assuming of that house, never go inside....they just spend their valuable time out there. In the heat....yeah no.
After he was able to block the intense heat coming his way, he motioned his hand for me to come over. I wasn't so sure though, I only really talked to Andreas. Plus I hadn't really been here all too long to get a good idea of who stayed in my neighborhood and what they were about. So I guess my concern is valid.
I didn't wanna be rude to his kind gesture so I just did what any rational person did. I played dumb. "Huh?" I-it's the s-sun I can't see you all that well." He rolled his eyes at me motioning his hand yet again. Making me sigh in defeat.
While placing the messy stack of mail back in the mailbox for the time being, I dragged my heels over to his side of the block. When I finally made it there I was real life mute. I had absolutely no idea what to say. So I didn't.
"Damn ma you ain't gone speak?" I shrugged and my hand made its way to my rubber band on my wrist starting to furiously snap it. "I done called you over and shit. And you disrespect me like that? Damnnn."
Oh great.
I honestly didn't know what to say. I didn't expect one thing to go so terribly. I mean I had only been here for about a month. So all I could do is stand there like a dummy.
He quickly noticed my facial expression and casually laughed at me. " Hey, let me stop. I'm just fucking with you."
At his words, my body could finally relax. I did not need anymore problems in my life.
"So you wanna chill or something later. You seem like you could use the company."
Damn.
"I don't look that lonely, do I ?"
His brows raised at my question followed by a silent stare off. I guess he wanted me to answer my own question. But I was genuinely lost. You never know how people perceive something or someone. And I didn't want to assume and make a complete ass out of myself.
