love and acceptance

maybe we are too hopeful.

the existence of our significant other has been one of the collective, if not sole, reason of our will to live. we use this card to keep on going, to hope, that maybe someday, the love we will receive will be just enough of what we are giving-of what we are expecting.

maybe we are too naive.

or making ourselves too fragile.

or too welcoming.

or. . . anything that is too much.

we hope. we are hopeful. we dream. we are dreaming. for the love. for that kind and sweet and gentle and comforting love-oh wait, that's perfect! a perfect love we are all waiting for. but no, love is not molded with glossy hands. love is rough and tough and intensive and drowning.

maybe that is the reason why most people failed in aspect of finding their life-long partner-they are expecting for something perfect. for something so dreamy they could just blink and still feel in love.

or maybe i'm lying. maybe i'm just telling how harsh love is coz that is what i'm experiencing. maybe i'm just someone who has still not experiencing the real feeling of love.

or maybe there wasn't love at all. maybe we're just fooling ourselves pretending to be contented with what we have, or had, just to say that we are happy. that we will be happy once we settle.

oh, love.

how frustrating this four letter is.

it tells us to love the right one-the one that is destined for us. what about the wrong ones? or. . . does the wrong one really exist?

i personally think no. coz everyone can be loved and should be loved. everyone should be accepted and supported. we are living under a rainbow, afterall.

happy heart's day!
