Today was Y/n's birthday he was supposed to meet up with some friends but of course they canceled last minute he decided to go out anyway and buy himself gifts to make himself feel better, he headed to his local mall grabbing small things from various shops.

It was started to get late as you were about to leave you spot a store selling plushies of pro heros you weren't a blind suporter but you did have an affinety towards a certain one. Walking in you find multiple plushies of the number two hero Hawks, still feeling a little hurt after your friends abonnaded you, you talk to the little Hawks in your hands. "At least i have you bud, you won't leave right?" You sighed turning to walk to the register not really paying attention to anything besides baby Hawks and how cute he looked. You almost made it to the register without bumbing into anyone but with your luck of course you did. "Oh, I'm sorry. i wasn't paying attention my bad." You apologized not bothering to look up hoping to leave not realizing you had dropped baby Hawks.

"Hey kid, you dropped something." the person you had ran into grabbed you shoulder turning you to face them this time you looked up as you spoke.

"Thank yo- holy shit Hawks." You immediately felt your face heat up just at the sight of him. He laughed at your reaction.

"I don't think i really look like this." He joked holding the plushie. "So..." He moved a little closer to you almost inspecting your face "...What's a pretty boy like yourself doing all alone." He raised an eyebrow. You couldn't think of a response so you sttutered looking for the right words, you couldn't get past his flirtious words, he thought that you were pretty or.. was he just teasing you. "You're even cuter when your flustered like that." He chuckled watching you get even more embarrassed. you hid you face in your hands.

"And whose fualt is that." you muttered.

"Okay okay fair, but for real why are you alone, is your girlfriend waiting for you?" He relaxed the flirting you laughed at his implication of you having a partner. "What your boyfriend?" He tried correcting himself which made you giggle more.

"no, i don't have a girlfriend or a boyfriend." You said removing your hands "I'm here alone, Why would you assume anyone would be intrested in me." You laughed to ease the accidental pain you cuased yourself.

"Your joking right?" Hawks deadpanned

"I mean just a bit." you rubbed the back of your neck. "Anyway, i should get going, it's kind of late." you made a grab for the plushie still in his hand which he pulled away.

"Trying to ditch me already, You're gonna hurt my feelings kid." He fake pouted at you. "Besides what kind of a hero would i be if i let you walk home alone at this hour, it's dangrous y'know. That is assuming you walked here." He was correct in assuming that.

"Doesn't the number 2 hero have anything better to do." You joked. "I did not mean that to sound rude, my bad bro." you laughed it off. "c'mon then." you sighed holding your hand out for the plushie not expecting hawks to just hold it with his free hand. "I was askng for the pushie, you dumbass not your hand." you mumbled. You lead him the rest of the way to register, paying before he could offer to.

The walk was less awkward than you thought it would've been, He even carried you bags despite your protests. You guys talked, mostly him asking stupid questions like you favourite colours, movies, music, etc. You hadn't even realized you were still holding his hand. "So kid, I still never got your name." He stated walking beside you almost to your destination.

"Are you asking or.." You teased feeling more comfortable with him.

'Not anymore with that attitude." He crossed his arms letting go of your hand in the process. At the loss of his warmth you let out an untentional huff.
