Chapter 53: It doesn't matter how well this album sells. I can shoulder the burden.

The haters didn't stop after Lisa posted her official statement on Weibo.

Eunha actually responded very quickly.

Eunha (V): I can't believe that Lisa and Jungkook are married. We spent so much time competing together, yet I never suspected a thing [shock]. With such acting skills, it's really a shame that she didn't pursue show business [doge] I feel so sorry for the contestants who were eliminated. For example, Daisy was clearly a very strong competitor, yet she was eliminated right before the finals thanks to Judge Jeon's vote and was unfortunately unable to make it past the top 8.

Since Lisa had been browsing through Weibo this entire time, she came across that post very quickly. She didn't expect that Eunha would actually post such a response onto the internet, as if she was trying to publicize their falling out.

Wendy also saw the post and told Lisa, "Just ignore Eunha. She works for YG. YG must have encouraged her to speak negatively about you. Otherwise, she wouldn't have had the audacity to post such a statement."

Lisa pursed her lips. Sure enough, people on YG's blacklist really did receive special treatment. YG was probably overjoyed that they could eliminate two birds with one stone this time around.

After noticing that Lisa's complexion looked rather poor, Wendy spoke up, "There is no need to be so worried. The only one who will lose face after posting a message like that is Eunha herself. The public relations department just sent me the emergency contingency plan. As I have said previously, neither of you two should respond to anything else before hearing from me."

"Got it." Lisa nodded. She had complete faith in Wendy's capabilities.

"You two can get back to work now. Even though this issue came up, your album production cannot be delayed."

Lisa wasn't in the mood to record, but Jungkook agreed with Wendy, "Let's go to the recording booth."

His words were directed at Lisa. Lisa looked over at him and then followed him out.

The sound technician was also in the recording booth. When he saw the two of them enter, he had no idea how to face them. After a moment of awkwardness, he rushed out while laughing nervously, "You guys can take your time talking. I'll be heading out first!"

If he left, who would do the recording?!

Jungkook poured a cup of hot water into his cup for Lisa and passed it into her hand, "You can rest for a little longer. He'll come back on his own after he gets over his shock."

"Even if Lady Eunha can't accept that she came in second place, she doesn't need to drag my Daisy into this alright? Daisy must be so pissed right now."

"All three judges voted for Lisa in the finals so Lady Eunha was forced to use Daisy as an example. Good try [wink]."

"There are still people defending that cheater Lisa? She concealed her marriage and tricked her way to first place. Are all her fans masochists?"
