The drama was insufferable, I don't know how Mor is still bearing it. I hesitated at first but then I asked her "are you liking it?"
"Yeah, it's good." She responded without diverting her gaze from the stage. She never hates any performances, even last time we went; when Feyre and Amren joined us. Honestly that drama was hell of an atrocity to us, but Mor still loved it, maybe because she appreciated their efforts, or maybe she was too sweet to dislike something. Amren left within first thirty minutes of it, without even bothering to give an excuse, and Feyre she must have called Rhys through the bond to save her from the hilarious performance. And me, I couldn't leave Mor on her own, she was already a bit upset with her going; so I beared that untill it bored me to tears. Atleast this drama was a bit better than that. If it wasn't for a romance theme I would have never agreed to it.

At last the curtains closed, so sad not for the end but for an interval.
"Do you want me to get you some Ice cream?"
"Huh" was all came out of my mouth as my face heated, at the word 'Ice cream',
"Why am I even bothering to ask, you never say no to Ice cream." She mumbled and went.
I was alone with just a few people in the sitting area, and I was sure only a few were going to return after the interval. Like hell this drama was a mockery to dramas, the protagonist broke her relationship because she didn't like her lover's new haircut, and then cried her eyes out for it. How the hell does it make sence? I have no Idea from where Mor brings up such drama tickets. Like Rhys's preffered clothing shop, it was a mystry too. Hell! just tell me who sell the tickets of this programe, I'm going to beat him hoarse.
The Drama was about to resume, people started getting back to there seats.
"Excuse me" said a young man, a male, fae male, of course, I frequently made this mistake.
"Yes?" I mumbled,
"Would you mind if I sit here?" He said gesturing to the seat at my left, it wasn't Mor's, neither anyone was sitting here before. I had no idea why he was asking me if he had a ticket. I didn't say anything I just shrugged. He took the seat.

The curtains opened and Mor was still gone, how could she leave me with this atrocity, Ugh.
And there I saw him, his shadows flickering behind him, I had no idea if he hid them, as his mate I can always see and feel them when a normal person cannot. I straighten a bit, he sat at Mor's seat. I didn't ask him why, and where Mor was; I had already decided not to talk to him for sometime. Let him have his space and me mine. Even he didn't utter any words, he just sat staring at the theatre, and even I pretended not to pay any heed.
After a moment, he whispered "I had to get Mor a front seat ticket to get hers." I didn't turn my gaze towards him, and neither did I reply. I could feel his gaze still lingering at me, but I didn't know what to say after what happened in the morning. Hell! I love him, I want to scream it to him, but... He still won't open up, he still won't let me touch his hands and still the things would be the same. His gaze still flickered upon me, so I tried to concentrate on the show. The protagonist was now travelling back to her kingdom.
"Did you came here alone?" Said the male sat at my left.
I made a great show of being unaware of Az, as I replied "I was here with a friend, but she went." I didn't specify where, again pretending not to notice Az.
"Hmm, I see." He said turning his gaze to me. I didn't look at him, I didn't want him to get hunted due to Az's recent mating weeks.
"I see you are a human;" he mused, "since when do you stay in Velaris?"
I remembered the day I arrived at Velaris during the War when Rhys opened it up for human refuge, "it's been more than a year."
"During the war I presume." He said.
I nodded, still didn't shift my gaze from the stage. Hell, can't he just stop talking to me, how long can I keep saving stupid innocents from Az's wrath.
"Are you comfortable talking to me?" He asked,
Huh? How stupid, asking this question after already been talking.
"No, she is not," Az said replying for me.
"And who are you to say that" the male frowned at him.
Az stood up, "who am I?" His voice lethally chilled. Shit!
Az's shadows covered the male, he yelped like a puppy, "I'm her mate, she loves me and you dared to ogle her." He said to him. I had no idea that all this time the male was ogling at me. People stood looking at what was happening. I was still startled, I had no Idea what to do.
"Az," Mor shouted from her front seat looking at him, she winnowed directly beside us. "Azriel" she yelled at him shaking him, but he didn't listen.
She turned her gaze to me for a minute "You got to stop him, he won't listen to me" and then continued shaking him into coherence.
" Let him go!" I exclaimed down the bond. And at an instance the shadows covering the man drawn back, leaving him. The man just stared with terror and shock, but he was unharmed; save for the black eye, and a swollen lip; ok! And maybe a broken nose. Az just patted his head like he was some little boy and strode towards the exit, Mor following him, her cheeks heated with embracement just as mine, as I followed her.
