Myths were forgotten stories that humans told their children as bed-time tales in the twenty-first century.

There wasn't much truth to it, except maybe an exaggerated version of the actual scenario, when the myths had existed...or so they thought.

But Nora knew better.

She had the sense to ignore those words, ignore the faded beliefs among humans, as she walked through the streets with one mission in her head.

She had lives to protect, lives to save, and it didn't matter what her story was, or her background - she only had to do her duty.

It had taken her months - six months to be exact, and a lot of research and begging to humans she didn't personally know, to bag the role of a security personnel for the top pop-group that had impressed millions of hearts and eased the pain of millions children, the boy band - BTS.

The internationally acclaimed group, made of seven individuals, had handed the responsibility of their safety to her - Nora Salver.

She still found it a bit hard to believe that her plan had worked.

Mind you, it wasn't any illegal jedi trick, or bribing any of the higher ups. It was just a simple switch of clothes and resume, which was under the name of her best friend, and BAM! She had somehow been selected from a list of dozens.

The idea had taken seed in her head, when she had watched one of those k-dramas and the main protagonist had done the exact same thing. She had replaced her friend's phone, who happened to be a boy, with her own, and gone to his interview, dressed as him, and had come out with flying colors. No one had suspected that beneath that suit was a girl.

And Nora, had followed the plan through.

Chris knew about the boys, and he knew she was a hard-core fan of the group. Of course, he had no idea the really reason behind her interest in BTS.

It was just an obsession that girls had these days - Chris's words, not hers.

She had ignored the statement, and insisted that Chris apply for the job as security personnel for the boys. Of course, the process was a grilling one, but she knew Chris had enough experience to grab their interest. And luckily, her prayer was answers.

Chris had been selected, and was expected to show up at the BigHit facility a week after selection. Nora made sure to hype up her friend, and congratulate him on the achievement and they even cracked jokes about how he was going to secretly smuggle her into the backstage of one of their concerts.

Little did Chris know, that Nora had a different plan in mind.

She changed the alarm timings on his phone, grabbed his suit and had slipped out, at the crack of dawn, making haste to the facility, for the orientation.

The rest was history.

Chris didn't know, of course. He had mourned the loss of opportunity, and they had drank their sorrows away, and later Nora had excused herself.

"Why?" Chris had asked, and Nora had lied again.

"I got a new job."

"Oh-" Chris went still for a second, before breaking into a big smile. "Wow! Congratulations! I knew you would get it eventually! You have been trying so long for that accountant job!"

And Nora had gone with the story - because why not? It was somewhat true right? She had gotten the job - just not the one he had in mind.

Nora let out a sigh, as she let herself through the back doors, and started greeting the staff. "Hello, Mr. Worth."
