I go back to my post and start thinking about the strange man. And I remember how he was so close to guessing who I really was, and that he had a last name similar to the one person I've ever despised in my whole life, Queen Maria Anglen.

I still remember her piercing green eyes, the long unnaturally red hair, and her long black fingernails. I shiver when i remember how those nails dug into my scalp every time she came down into the dungeon to question the demons. Her red hair being a beacon of warning to everyone in my cell block. Those eyes that made even my father, the king of demons, to quiver in fear. No one believes how shes an angel, she inflicts so much fear into the hearts of everyone who looked into her eyes.

Then my mind goes back to the man. His eyes were like the ocean, greens and blues swirling around in a beautiful dance and his dusty brown hair hanging in front of his eyes. And the strange aura he gave off that I've only felt twice before, the day before and the day i fled to earth.

Was he there that day? Is he really an angel? I think to myself. Could he be hunting me?!

I hadn't noticed I had spaced out until Hannah put her hand on my shoulder.

"Hey. You alright Anise? You look like you just saw a ghost." she says, her eyes filled with worry.

"Oh. Yeah. I'm fine Hannah. Trust me." I reply, giving her a reassuring smile. "Don't worry about me."

"Alright." she says, smiling back. "Now. You have some explaining to do after work missy."

I laugh at this and we get back to work.
