Chapter 7: Hang out with the group

Perspective: Jaden

I had choir. I really like to sing, and I wrote a few songs. I go to choir with Chase, and I spot Nick. I wish I can hang out with Mads. She's just so beautiful and I can't say that enough! I know that we have school tomorrow, and she's coming over to my birthday party, But it's the quality time!

Nick: "Hi peeps! Anything new!"
Jaden: "You're in choir!? I didn't know you could sing! "I kind of teased him a little bit, but it was meant to be a complement.
Nick: "I can sing a little bit, but it's not that good. "
Jaden: "I like to sing, but I just don't like to sing in public. So I decided to get out of my comfort zone and do the thing I love in public! "
Nick: "You have a good attitude!"
Chase: "all right then, let me hear it! I've never heard you sing before, so just give it a shot!"

(He sings some lyrics from this song. This is actually his own song.

Nick: "Wow! I love it! You should do something with those lyrics!"
Jaden, "I'll try."
Random guy: "Was that the new kid? JADEN HOSSLER?"
Jaden: "Yes." He smiles and nods
Random guy: "You're dating Mads Lewis right?"
Jaden: "No, that's just a rumor going around."

Perspective: Mads

After dance, I text my mom to make sure we can hang out.

Mads: mom, I'm going to invite a few friends over. Is that ok?
Mom: yes. Riley and Dekota are coming with me and dad to a concert. It'll take us 45 minutes to get there, so we're leaving early.
Mads: okay

At my house

I go home and I already don't see my parents or siblings. I think they already left. Someone knocks on the door. I open it.

NASA: "hey beautiful! "She gives me a hug.
Mads: "hi Ness!"
Anissa: "where are your parents? "
Meds: "I'll explain when everyone gets here, but they won't be home until midnight. "
Nestle: "awesome! We get the whole house to ourselves? "He beams in excitement.

Addison comes in without knocking. I am OK with her doing that because she has been my best friend ever cents sophomore year.

Addison: "Hey shawties!" He shouts.
Nessa: "Nothing much."
Addison: "Well, it will be something because I brought the snacks!"
Mads: "That's awesome! I didn't have much snacks in my cabinets so thanks a bunch, Addi!"
Addison: "Mads, the girls just texted and said they'll be a little late."
Mads: "Ok! Madi and avani will come next?"
Nessa: "Who's Madi and who's Avani?"
Mads: "They're just a few girls from our dance club. "
Nessa: "Oh, cool!"

After everyone arrives

When everyone gets here, we chitchat about random stuff school and life.

Charli: "I think Ms. Anderson has a crush on Mr. Laurence."
Madi: "What if they're dating." We giggle a little.
Dixie: "They COULD be married tho."
Mads: "However they might be, I ship them."
Addison: "So, what are we going to do first?"
Avani: "Watch a show." She suggested
Dixie: " how about a movie? "
Avani: "That's even better!"

We scroll through Netflix. We find a movie to watch. Addison gets the snacks and we watch our movie.
