Chapter 8: Jads

Perspective: Jaden

So, I really wanted to hang out with Mads. I was at my house, writing a new song when Josh text me. Naturally, I give a sign and pick up my phone. I didn't want to argue with him, but I read his message.

Josh: I have to tell you something, but you have to see me in person. I'm not trying to argue with you, I just have to tell you something.
Jaden: does it have to do with Mads?
Josh: yes, but it's not going to be rude like what I said yesterday.
Jaden: I don't believe you, bye.

After that conversation was done, I took my car to Mads's place. I see a car behind me and it's Josh and Noah playing music loud. Once I got to Mads's house, Josh and Noah come out of what it seems to be Josh's car.

Josh: "Jaden!"
Noah: "I don't know what he going to do, just bear with me, ok?"
Jaden: "I'm going inside, don't follow me." I say sharply

Noah gives an empathetic look to me. I walk inside to see Mads and the girls watching a movie. I see 2 other girls, but I think it's just the lighting.

Mads: "Jaden! What are you doing here?"
Jaden: "I missed you so I wanted to come by and say hi."
Mads: "Well now is a bad time."

I recognize the movie and sit close to Mads.

Mads: "How did you know my address?"
Jaden: "Nessa told me yesterday at school."
Mads: "Oh, I thought you were so "into" me that you decided to stalk me lol."
Jaden: I would NEVER!"

The movie ends, and I go home. Josh stops following me, and I go home with Noah.

2 days later after school

Perspective: Mads

After school, I didn't have dance, and it was Friday, so I met up with Jaden at his last class, which was in room 603. Since we were in the fire buildings, there was a shortcut to get to the parking lot.

Jane: "hi Mads! Are you ready to go to my house? "
Mads: "yes for sure!"
Jaden: "how about this; I will get in my car, and I will move in front of yours so that you can follow me to my house. In case you need me call me it's on Main Street."
Form "which one?"
Jaden called "the biggest one! I'm not even kidding!" He smiles, and I laugh.

I get in my car and Jaden parked in front of me. We drive over to Jaden's, and his house was actually the biggest one! I walked in and his house is very roomy, but quiet.

Jaden: "my parents won't be home until Sunday because they're taking a trip to Oregon for their friends funeral. "
Mads: "only thing is I'm so sorry for your friend! How come you didn't go? "
Jaden: four I had to stay home to watch the pets. I have one Big dog and one small cat. "
Mads "Oof."
Jaden: "yeah, you get the gist." He smiles and flirts.
Mads: "why did Josh act so crazy the other day? "
Jaden: "do you want to know the truth? "
Mads: "yeah. I don't think I'll be mad at someone is nice. "
Jaden: "so, I kind of call Josh that I had a crush on you. But he perceived it as something different, so he may have thought we were dating. "
Mads: "I don't know how to feel about that. I want to be mad at you, but at the same time, I'm mad at Josh for spreading your name. Josh betray your trust, and I'm sorry for you. I can tell that you told Noah, but he didn't do anything. It was just Josh because he's more problematic. "
Jaden: "I thought you would be more upset! At my old school, if I say that someone else did something, and it's the truth, everyone would end up being mad at me! But you understand. Girls like Dixie and Charlie would I think you'll be mad at me. But unproblematic people like you or NASA would care because everyone blames things on you guys. "

After setting up for the big day, we have more pleasant conversations about things. It's nice to have some alone time with him. I really want to kiss, but I don't want Jaden to tell the whole school like Josh did to Jaden.

Saturday

Perspective:: Jaden

Everyone arrived the night before. We all just hung out and talked about life. That night during dinner, we hear a knock at the door. I thought it was an Amazon package that my parents ordered on Thursday. It is actually Josh. Yes, JOSH RICHARDS, AT MY HOUSE!

Josh: "Jaden, I want to tell you something. Everyone else can listen to because it applies to everyone. "
Dixie: "where is he going with this? "She whispers to Mads
Mads: "I don't know, just listen. "

I' thought he was going to say something dumb like, "I ain't never seen two pretty best friends, "or something like that.

Josh: " Jaden, I am sorry for telling the whole school that you liked Mads. I don't know what kind to me, but I do know now that I was so so so problematic, and I want to be a better person. We were such good friends, and I want to continue that. I really should you guys call me so I wanted to tell a few people who sat next to me during class and just as a joke. But they told the whole school and I chimed in with them too. I just don't want to be sus."
Jaden: "I accept the apology."
Mads: "Me too."
Jaden: "do you want to stay here for my birthday tomorrow? "
Josh: "yes, for sure! "

Birthday

Perspective: Mads

The next day, it was Jaden's birthday! I slept with dixie, Addison, and Nessa and Charli slept with Madi and Avani. The rest of the boys slept on the front room. Jaden woke me up. It was six in the morning!

Jaden: "Madison Lewis! Get up!"
Mads: "it's 6 AM! What? "I say annoyed voice
Jaden: "come and tiptoe outside where no one can see us. "

We walk outside, and I get butterflies in my stomach all of a sudden. He holds my hand and I squeeze it tight. Outside, he says to me, " this is what I've always wanted to do ever since the day we've met, and since it's my birthday, my wish will come true right now. " I get even more butterflies. He hesitates and pours me in for a kiss! A KISS! Tbh, it felt nice, and that kiss only made him cuter!"

Mads: "Jaden!"
Jaden: "I just had to!"
Mads: "I have no words right now!"
Jaden: "well I do! Can we make this official already? I want to be your boyfriend for real this time. Please say yes! "
Mads: "OK, I'll be your girlfriend.."
Jaden: "Thank you Mads!" Gives me a hug.
Mads: "happy birthday Jaden. "
