"He-Hermione!" I managed to croak out, staring at her wide eyed in disbelief. Then, I smile. I smile so hard my cheeks start to hurt. "I-I've finally found you!"

I'm not sure what it was exactly, the relief of finding my best friend whom I haven't seen in a year or the stinging from my bleeding arm that the ass hat caused, that I started to tear up. It was probably the latter, though.

I could feel her gaze lower and stop at my arm, which then they widened in fear.

"What on earth happened to you?" She steps forward and takes my arm in hers. I look behind her to see the boy I ran into and another boy with red hair, who looked quite familiar, looking at her confused. She then tugged lightly on my arm, indicating for me to follow her as we reach a bathroom where she washed the blood off.

Classic Hermione, she's just like the older sister I never had.

After washing up she wrapped my arm with a bandage and without saying a word, started to lead me to a room, while the 2 boys followed suit behind her.

What are they, her bodyguards?

"Okay, Y/N, start talking," She demands as she sits me down on a red couch in front of a fireplace. I sighed, and started to take in my surroundings. It was amazing. Everything was red, the walls, the chairs, everything! It was complemented with gold, the dining table at the side of the room. I look back at her after a while and start to explain. How I called her non-stop, how I got my letter delivered by an OWL and that I had been looking for her ever since I arrived. Her gaze, yet again, went down to my arm. "What about this? How on earth did you manage to hurt yourself?"

"Malfoy..." I spoke as I felt anger bubble up inside of me, as I told her the entire story of what happened. Before Hermione had a chance to lecture me about how I shouldn't go around provoking people, especially slytherins, the boy with dark hair snickered a bit before saying that he definitely deserved it. I smiled and looked at him thankfully.

"I'm Harry Potter, nice to meet you, Y/N," He smiled and patted me on the back. I looked at him with surprise. "Harry Potter? The Boy who Lived? That's...you?" I speak, still gaping at him. He shrugs, as if he isn't a big deal. Are you joking?

"Bloody Ell!" The red head and me turn to face each other as we realise we both said the exact same thing at the exact same time, after he calmed down seeing that what he thought was a ghost was just some dust that tickled him.

"Ehm, hah, what are the chances of that?" He utters, and speaks a bit louder, "I'm ,uh, Ronald Weasley, but I guess you can call me Ron for short,"

Then it hit me. He looks at me with utmost confusion as I loudly ooooooohhhhhh-ed when he said his name. "That's what Ginny meant when she said I'd get along with you," I say incredulously.

"Ginny? You've met my sister?" He asks, as he started to move closer to the 3 of us, and sat just next to Harry.

"Yeah, in the train," I reply. "She came barging into the wrong cabin, which I then screamed what apparently is your catchphrase, "bloody ell", and she told me I'd get along with her brother Ron, before leaving," I explained, giggling about how silly that really was. Thinking about the whole situation made me realise.

Fletcher.

"Oh Merlin, my cat..." I muttered to myself, trying not to panic. It was my first day at Hogwarts and I'd already lost my CAT.

The three looked at me confused, and after a brief moment of thinking Hermione started to laugh. I looked at her with are you insane my cat is missing eyes as she started to explain how my cat was probably already in my common room, which made me realise, again, that I was a Slytherin. I could tell she was reminded too, as her laughing stopped and she frowned, but tried to hide it.

"Speaking of my common room, I should probably head there now..." I say reluctantly, sighing. I knew it was necessary for me to go back, as my total of 0 friends were probably wondering where I was. I got up, hugged Hermione one last time, and waved goodbye to the Harry and Ron, away from comfort and towards uncertainty.

And the ass hat.

I dragged my feet along the floor and exited the Gryffindor common room, sighing. Here I go.
