"I've never seen this much snow before,"

You marvelled at the sight around you. Snow was falling slowly across the city in late December, just days away from Christmas. You weren't lying, you had truly never seen so much snow before. To Jerry, this was just a normal amount of snow for the winter, but he could see that you had a sparkle in your eye like you were in wonderland.

You had been travelling around the world all alone for months, seeing the sights and sounds of every place possible, and your trail of money had finally run out once you arrived in Seattle. After getting a job at a local bar, you had met Jerry Cantrell, a musician who was struggling as much as you were. He had helped you find somewhere to live in the city and was more than helpful showing you around, considering you were definitely going to be stuck there for a while. You weren't too worried about being stuck in Seattle though, as you had met some interesting characters and experiencing a white christmas was something you were excited about.

Jerry watched you as you spun around in the falling snow, snowflakes delicately falling on your face. Jerry had never seen you enjoy yourself like this, it was very endearing. Usually, you were always so stressed, running around trying to make ends meet, and in that moment you were so blissful.

"It's not that much snow," He replied.

"It is so, for someone like me" You quipped, making a little snowball in your hands and throwing it at a nearby tree.

Jerry shrugged, and he continued watching you as you went back to spinning in slow motion, collecting as many snowflakes as possible. The snow paired with the christmas lights around the streets was making you feel so happy, you were experiencing a christmastime unlike any other before.

"You're like a little kid right now," Jerry laughed.  You were truly putting on a spectacle for any bystanders.

"You're being such a buzzkill! It's beautiful out here..." You trailed off, not focused on whatever dour mood Jerry was in about the holidays.

Although you were more entranced with the snow, Jerry could simply not take his eyes off you. Ever since the moment he had met you, he found himself completely enamoured with you. He felt like a bumbling idiot trying to talk to you sometimes, as if a schoolboy with a crush. You had instantly taken his heart, and as he watched you frolic in the snow, Jerry felt like he had to say something. He had no idea how long you'd be in Seattle, and he felt like time may be running out. Now was his chance.

"Jerry?"

Jerry snapped out of his thoughts and caught your gaze. "Hm?"

"You looked spaced out," You giggled.

"I was just admiring your beauty," He replied.

You rolled your eyes. "Real funny,"

"I didn't say I was joking," Jerry reiterated, a serious look upon his face.

"What are you talking about, Cantrell?"

"I think you're beautiful,"

"Wh-"

You began to speak, but your sentence was rudely cut short. As you stepped forward to confront Jerry about whatever he was insinuating, you slid across the icy sidewalk and went flying. You landed with a nice thud, snow billowing up and engulfing your body.

"(Y/N)!" Jerry shouted, running over to your snow covered body. He knelt down beside you and brushed snow away from your face. Your face was contorted with pain and anguish, Jerry was terribly afraid that you had been hurt badly.

"(Y/N), oh my god, are you okay?" Jerry said, brushing a stray hair away from your face with his gloved fingers.

You blinked and opened your eyes to see Jerry's concerned face watching over you. "(Y/N)?"

"You really think I'm beautiful?" You asked wistfully.

Jerry couldn't help but laugh. "Seriously (Y/N), are you hurt?"

"I'm cold and wet and my head hurts," You whined.

"Come on, let's go home,"

Jerry went to help you up, and you took hold of his outstretched hand, but as he went to pull you up, you stayed sitting in the snow. He turned around to see you looking at him, a confused look still on your face.

"You didn't answer," You said.

"What?"

"You think I'm beautiful?" You asked once again.

"I think you're the most beautiful girl in the world,"

You stood up and let the snow fall off you, Jerry keeping a keen eye on you as he still had a hold of your hand.

"I think there's mistletoe above us right now," You said, a cheeky smirk appearing on your lips.

Jerry instinctively looked up, only to find there wasn't anything above the two of you but the night sky. "No there's not?"

"Jerry,"

Jerry turned back to you, more confused than before. "What?"

"Kiss me, you idiot,"

Jerry facepalmed, and the two of you laughed at the ridiculousness of what was happening. As the giggling died down, Jerry caught your eye. He sensed you were waiting for him to make his move, and so he kissed you like he had always wanted to. You felt your stomach do flips as Jerry kissed you, and you kissed him back passionately.

With the snow falling around you and the christmas lights adorned around the street, you felt like you were in a silly christmas rom-com. You had to break away from Jerry's lips to laugh at the situation.

"What's so funny?" He asked, a grin on his face.

"Nothing," You shook your head, and hooked your arms around Jerry's neck. "Just kiss me again,"

[AUTHOR'S NOTE: this is literally so self indulgent and gross but ANYWAYS hope y'all like it. I'm in an AIC kick atm 🕺. Requests are open but no guarantees on when I'll get around to them lol]
