Mishti opened her eyes..
The morning twilight had lightened up the sky and chirping of birds greeted her day...
She opened her eyes slowly and then they widened suddenly..and..her instinctual stiffening was answered by an arm tightening around her waist..and as she looked with a mixture of alarm and shyness...she found him nestle his cheek onto her bosom...
Abir...
Her fingers threaded hesitantly through his haphazard hair ...
" Umm..abhi uthna mat...I need you... Mishtiii.."
Abir mumbled as he pulled her close... and whispered..
" Happy birthday... Mishti... but ..yeh batao..why do I get the feeling that I am the one going to be showered with gifts..."
He turned pulling her onto him..
Mishti looked at his sleepy smiling face ...her slightly long hair framing her face and touching him...and rested her face on his chest.listening to his heartbeats...
After a few minutes... she.said in a low voice..
" Abiir...I never did actually enjoy birthdays ..it kinda tugged fiercely that my birthday didn't matter for the persons responsible for me..but you made me forget that yesterday..."
Abir pulled himself into a sitting position.. holding her along... cradling her onto his chest..and she looked up to him...
" Thank you for letting me in your life...you are the only one who made me feel whole...."
Abir pressed a kiss on her forehead..and held her....just letting them soak in the morning vibes... not yet ready to let go the bubble of ecstacy and contentedness...
The sudden shrill of her phone startled their idle camaraderie.....
Mishti got up scrambling towards her bag..Abir looked at her enticing frame...his eyes taking on the faint marks on her arms and the hickies ....
The remainders of their passion..
" Video call. !!.. OMG...Kuhu..?! ..itni subah.. it's only 5"
" It's 12 ish there..calm down and take the call..."
Abir cautioned her smoothly..
Alarmed.. Mishti put on her robe..and eying Abir getting out of the bed ...clad in boxers..she attended the call... signalling him to move away...
