--flashback--

"Hey, 'Zawa? I just got a call from a pro a few blocks away- I'll take your class right now, go see T- All Might. He's in his office." Present Mic nervously said.

He was standing outside the tired teacher's door, tapping his feet to an unheard rhythm. The shorter man got up from his sleeping bag on the grey floor and made his way down to All Might's room. When he walked in, he saw a surprising group of people.

"Edgeshot, Lady, what are you guys doing here?"

"I assume Present Mic filled you in?" Edgeshot said, lines of worry creasing his smooth face.

"No, he just said to come here."

The smell of bubblegum flooded the room when Mt. Lady opened her mouth.

"You know that building, the one that was supposed to be demolished years ago?"

Eraserhead nodded.

"Well, a few villains broke into it, and they held up that elementary school not too far from there. They've got about 60 little kids somewhere inside."

"Jesus Christ," Eraserhead rubbed his temples. "You need me for reinforcement, right?"

"Not just you," the symbol of peace cut in. "I put great trust in your students. I think we might need their help."

"Absolutely not." Aizawa slammed his hand down on the table. "This sounds far too dangerous. I don't want anyone getting hurt out there."

Class 1-A, along with their blonde teacher, leaned in closer toward the door. Mineta exchanged a nervous glance with Kaminari, who squeezed closer into Jirou. This threw Momo, who had been leaning on the other girl, off balance and she fell into Midoriya. Out of surprise he stood up straight, hitting Iida in the jaw with his head. The sound was a horrible crack, loud enough that the gathering of pro heroes inside could hear.

Aizawa swung open the door to find his whole class grouped together, obviously caught listening to their conversation. Midoriya was frantically tending to an injured Iida, who was (unsuccessfully) trying not to cry. Everyone else was trying to untangle themselves from the dog-pile they had accidentally created.

The first one to speak was Todoroki.

"Sir, with all due respect, you aren't very well equipped for this sort of situation. Many of us would be a lot of help."

Eraserhead sighed. His students were very stubborn, and he knew that they would follow him even if he said no.

"Fine. You will follow our instructions to a T, and you absolutely will not go off alone. Yaoyarozu, could you make some radios? I want you all to be in constant contact with a pro."

The kids nodded. They could hear just how serious the situation was through the door.

"I'll be assigning teams. If I hear any report at all of anyone going off alone, you are all getting recalled. And expelled."

A chill ran through the students. Expulsion from UA meant 0% chance of becoming a pro in the future.

"Don't worry, Mr. Aizawa! We'll be extra super careful!" Mina said as she rose from the ground. She helped up Hagakure and looked back at her teacher.

"I promise, nobody's gonna get hurt."

He managed a tired smile. Maybe they could handle themselves, he thought.

"Where's Mic? I thought he was with you."

The other teacher walked out from the office next door. He triumphantly held up a piece of paper.

"Teams!"

He handed the paper to Aizawa, who shared it with the heroes behind him. Edgeshot nodded, and cleared his throat to speak.

"Since we have an organized system, I'll now tell you who you'll be partnered with and with which pro hero you will be in contact with.

Aoyama, Iida, Ojiro, you three will be with Kamui Woods.

Asui, Sero, Hagakure, you three will go with Snipe"

A few hushed voices carried around the circle. Usually teachers weren't dispatched unless other pros had gotten in a mess and needed the backup's backup. This couldn't be good.

"Bakugo, Kirishima, Kaminari, you three go with Present Mic."

Mic titled his head to the side like a confused puppy, and snatched back the paper.

"Hey! I assigned them to you!"

Edgeshot looked him in the eyes with a sharp glare.

"And I changed it. You deal with kids much better, and from what I know, these three are a handful."

Kirishima and Kaminari exchanged a secret handshake. Bakugo looked like he wanted to complain, but he kept his mouth shut.

"Back to what's important. Shoji, Todoroki, Mineta, you go with Mt. Lady."

Mineta shuddered when he remembered his internship.

"Tokoyami, Koda, Uraraka, you three with Ryukyu.

Ashido, Jiro, Midoriya, you three with Eraserhead.

Yaoyorozu, Sato, you two with me.

Everyone clear?"

A wave of bobbing heads confirmed the mission.

"We leave at 8 tonight. Yaoyorozu, radios please," Eraserhead said.

The girl excused herself and came back with 20 radios. She silently handed them to Mt. Lady, who distributed them amongst the group.

"You'll need more than that. Make sure to get your hero costumes, listeners."

Present Mic seemed anxious still. The usual enthusiasm in his voice was nowhere to be found.

Everyone returned to the room at the urging of All Might.

"You guys are Plus Ultra. I put great faith in you. Now listen to your teachers, and try to pay attention!"

Deku stayed behind and asked to talk to All Might for a second. He walked into the office, awkwardly sitting down between the edge of the couch and Mt. Lady, who was completely oblivious as she took out a package of bubblegum and popped 4 pieces in her mouth.

"M-Mr. All Might?"

"Yes, young Midoriya?"

"Are we gonna be ok?"

"I don't know."
