Chapter 4:Consequence
Gathering my thoughts in this disgusting trunk I can't help but wonder who is this man? How does he know where to find me? I'm actually more careful than most. I've been escorting since I was 16 years old I'm now 27 there's no way I'll remember every face. Then again no one has ever gotten this close to me until I start recruiting Lexie. ALEXIS!!! I bet this is one of her jons and he saw us together!!! Imma kill that bitch! As the car hits a pot hole and I hit my already bruised head I realize I need to think how can I get outta this! I immediately feel for my bag my phone should be in it. "Fuck" I mumbled under the tape when I tried to run my bag fell so either he has it or it's still in the parking garage! Okay Julianna you're a smart girl your mom has taught you how to survive think Julianna think! I start to feel what's inside the trunk since this handsome Moran didn't tape my hands I should be able to make it out of this. Feeling around the empty trunk I actually get lucky it's a crow bar pushed to the side I immediately grab it! Now think Julianna if he sees the crow bar when he opens the trunk then there's absolutely no point he'll beat me with it. Lord knows my face and body is how I survive. I put the crow bar behind me and try to get the trunk open because I'll just jump out. After what seems like 10 mins of trying the car stops and the door opens and closes. Okay JuJu it's either you or him! As Zane opens the trunk he smirks as I make my way out the trunk I immediately reach back and grab the crow bar I hit him so hard with it he never saw it coming! He lunged at me and I hit him dead in his temple with all my force and he actually fell back so I took that moment to beat him till I couldn't.Removing the tap from my mouth I swing hitting him dead in the eye."Wait I just want you to point me to Zoe!" Zane cries. "Zoe?" I said confused hitting him one more time if he gets an advantage I'm done for all he is,is muscle. Don't let the finest fool you though I've been working out since I've been 18 I'm stronger than I look. "The light skin girl curly hair skinny big lips! She robbed my dad! I just wanted to rough her up a little!" Zane cries as I hit him in the chest. I never stopped hitting him."So why are you coming for me!" I said hitting him in his face with the crow bar." I've been following y'all for two weeks every since she robbed my dad! I seen you with her please stop I wasn't going to kill you!" Zane cries. Hitting him again dead in his face it look like he's pasted out. I hit him 4 more times in the face as hard as I can and I go to the car to look for my purse and it's in the passenger seat I go in it take out my knife and I slice Zanes throat. I heard him take his last breath. He wasn't trying to kill me! Yeah right he took me to a deserted place and I'm not taking any chances I get into Zanes car and drive it back to the area. I leave the car after wiping off all my prints from the trunk to the door handles. I walk about 3 miles up to a cafe and I caught an Uber back to the hotel. Trying to cover myself from the blood ,his and mines I quickly rush to our suite and I'm quickly greeted by Alexis I walk up to her and punch her dead in her face! Because of her I could've died!! "WTF JU!!" Lexie says. "No wtf Alexis do you see me bitch! Some guy that you robbed followed us dumbass and he tried to kill me bitch!" I said charging at Alexis I'm furious. Alexis runs across the room and says "Juju I'm sorry I told you last night."
"Last night! Bitch he said he's been following us for weeks bitch!" I said walking towards Alexis. "Look Ju I'll just work for you tonight! All the money we make tonight you keep everything!" Alexis says backing away from me."Does it looks like I'm going to work bitch?! Look at me I'm a mess I'm not going anywhere tonight but to a new hotel far from here!!!!! One thing you said is true you will work for me tonight and I want 50% of what you make in the future! That's obviously not worth my life but it'll make me happy!" I screamed."Ok Ok Ju." Lexie says."Now pack your shit let's go!" I said furious at Alexis. Taking an Uber to another part of Michigan Traverse city to be exact we pay for a two bedroom two bathroom suite and I go to Alexis room while she's unpacking to put this hoe in her place!"Alexis." Before I could finish my phone starts to ring and it's Jamilla my little sister so I step out to answer.
Juju:"What's up Milla?"
Milla:"Julianna I was calling you to invite you over for Sunday dinner we have some things to discuss and dad and I miss you."
Juju:"I'll try to make it look Millz I gotta go." Before Jamilla could respond I disconnected the call. Jamilla and I aren't that close I mean she grew up with dad we spent some summers together but she's always been under my dad and I've always been with my mother. Jamilla still lives with dad. I moved out when I was 18 years old. Jamilla doesn't know Spanish my mother spoke mostly English with my father and my father felt like his girls should know English since we live in America so English is my first language. Once my parents separated my mother taught me Spanish everyday like I was in Spanish class. My mother always said "When shit gets tough we may have to go back to our roots the Dominican Republic." I still believe that. Bringing myself out of my thoughts and back into Lexie's room she has her tv on the news and something quickly catches my attention.
"Breaking news on Detroit's east side 30 year old Daniel Smith Jr son of Daniel Smith Sr the self proclaimed millionaire was found brutally murdered at Orchard Lakes. Officials say they are working out some leads and searching for a girl named Zoe here is a picture of the suspect if you know her please contact your local police department. If you have any information on the murder of Daniel Smith Jr contact your local news department." News reporter says. Lexie and I stare directly at each other! There is a picture of Alexis on the news! How are we going to get out of this!
