Gajeel was working on a late night story so it was just Juvia and Levy in the house that night. Levy was resting in bed while Juvia was fixing her some tea in the kitchen. From outside, Black Dragon was leaning over the window of the kitchen, unseen by Juvia. He licked his mouth with his long forked tongue and as he thought about what horrible things he could do to hurt her. He was just about to go in and do the damage when he was tackled and dragged away from the house by an angry Blue Tiger.

"Stay away from her!" He demanded before punching him in the face.

Luckily Juvia's back was turned so she didn't see what was happening outside. When she finished preparing the tea, she poured some into a cup and brought into Levy's bedroom.

"Here you are Levy." Juvia said.

"Thank you." Her sister in-law said gratefully.

"Did you want any honey or milk with it?"

"No thank you."

"Are you feeling any better?"

"Much."

"I'm glad. You mean so much to Gajeel. These past few days I haven't seen him so scared in such a long time."

"You mean a lot to him too. He feels just terrible about missing your play."

"He shouldn't. Being there for you was much more important."

THUMP!

"What on earth was that?" Levy asked.

"It's probably the raccoons getting into the garbage again. I'll go shoo them off."

Juvia went back into the kitchen, grabbed a broom, and opened the front door. She saw turned over trash cans but no sign off claws marks and garbage being dragged about.

"Alright you nasty nocturnals." She said stepping outside. "Get out of here and stop making a mess or you'll be sorry."

She moved her broom against the bushes around her house, in case some raccoons were hiding there but none came out.

"I guess I scared them off sooner than I thought."

She started to go back inside but stopped when she got the feeling that she wasn't alone. She looked around for someone but all she saw were houses, parked cars, and lamp posts. Still this feeling wouldn't leave her and it made her a little uneasy. Suddenly she let out a small scream when a hand grabbed her shoulder and swatted whoever it was with her broom.

"Ow!"

She was relieved to see that the man she had accidentally attacked was Gray.

"Oh Gray I'm so sorry." She said. "You scared me. I thought you were a mugger or something."

"Wow you really know how to use a broom don't you?" He said standing up.

"Gray what are you doing here at this hour? And sneaking around like this? You could give someone a heart attack by doing that you know."

"Juvia is your brother home?"

"No he's at work. Why? Are you looking for him?"

"So it's just you and your sickly sister-in law home alone tonight?" He asked ignoring her question.

"I wouldn't say she's sickly. She's recovering quite well."

"Oh man."

"Gray are you alright? You're shaking. Is something wrong?"

"Juvia I can't talk long but I need you to do something for me."

"What?"

"When you go back inside lock all doors and the windows and don't open any of them until Gajeel gets home."
