"why are you even friends with.. you know.. jay?" the popular student asked bangchan. bangchan rubbed his nape, "eh.. i don't know.."
jay was eavesdropping, he was confused, hurt, and angry at the same time. he was behind the lockers, looking at the two boys talking about him.
"oh come on! tell me!" the popular boy smacks bangchan's shoulder lightly. bangchan looked around the surroundings and chuckled, "okay, okay.. i'll tell you."
jay was almost tearing up, bangchan was his only friend.
"honestly, he's such a brat. he doesn't think about others but himself. and i'm only friends with him because he's smart and does homework."
bangchan says as the popular boy laughs, "hah, okay! want to go to the garden with heeseung and gowon?" bangchan nods as they left the hallway.
jay cried and cried in the corner of the locker room, he was devastated. he was disappointed, he was angry, he was everything that a negative person has.
jay was on his knees, crying and his tears became a pool. a person from a far with keen eyes gasped, "are you okay?!" the person ran to jay, trying to comfort him.
jay looked at the person and explained every single thing he heard and witnessed with his eyes. the person was in guilt and wanted to help him more.
"i'm jay."
"nice to meet you, i'm hyunjin."
they both smiled and stood up, walking to the exit of the locker room. jay's eyes were swollen, he couldn't see much because of his tears so hyunjin helped him.
as soon as they arrived at the gates, they saw bangchan and his 'other' friends together. bangchan smiled and walked up to the innocent boys, "jay!"
"don't touch him." hyunjin said as he pushed bangchan away from jay. jay just looked down.
"who do you think you are? i'm his bestfriend." bangchan said as he pulled jay's arm to be closer with him.
hyunjin was furious. he pulled jay beside him, "what's 'bestfriend' when you talk about his name to others?"
bangchan glared, as the innocent boys walked together quickly and safely to home.
jay thought, 'he's a fucking idiot.'

10am. jay's point of view.
hyunjin widened his eyes so did i. hyunjin held sunoo's arm, "don't become friends with him, please."
sunoo chuckled, "why? he's a good guy." heejin nods and responds, "hmm, i'll side with sunoo for now." sunoo gave a wide grin to heejin as heejin did the same.
i sighed, "it's for your safety. i will only tell you once or you will regret it, sunoo." i was angry. i was mad. i didn't know what i feel. it just feels like a negative feeling.
"jay, i make my own decisions and i decide my own decisions. so can you please zip your mouth?" sunoo said after sipping a drink of his frappuccino.
hyunjin rolled his eyes, "okay, whatever." hyunjin took his buttered break and ate it angrily.
"then i don't think i'll be able to stay in jeju with you guys." i smirked, as heejin's and sunoo's eyes widened.
heejin suddenly looks at sunoo, "yah, don't be friends with him!" she was shaking sunoo's arm intensely.
"okay, okay!" sunoo took out his phone and deleted bangchan's number in front of me. i nodded, "good."

really, i'm so annoyed. jay really want to cut off my interactions with bangchan. why does he even know bangchan? how?
jinjja, he's too much for me to handle.
i look at my phone and opened it smiling. luckily, i have bangchan's number on my notes.
i acted as if i was going to call my mother, eventually they believed me so i walked to the bathroom and called bangchan.
"oh y/n! how are you?" bangchan said excitingly through the phone. i smiled, "i'm fine, channie."
we just met yesterday, but it felt like we've been friends for months. i'm grateful to have someone like him in my life.
"oh you told me about your prom right? who's your partner?" bangchan asked. i frowned, "i have no partner, it's optional to have no partners or have partners in the prom."
"ahh, i see. well, what's the time of your prom? when's your prom?"
it felt suspicious, but i didn't mind. he was a friend of mine anyway.
"it's next week's friday, it'll start 6pm and will end 9pm. by the way, why are you asking?"
"oh maybe it's because i'll take you somewhere special~" he teased.
i smiled and thought, i might have feelings for bangchan. he's too sweet.
