2:27pm, monday.

i woke up to the vibrating sounds of my phone. confusion enters my head wondering who would text me right now and had time to text me.

i don't even have the time for myself, lol.

anyway, i pick up my phone to see who was texting me when i realized, it's fucking monday.

i facepalmed my forehead while a sigh escapes my mouth.

i looked up to the ceiling, "grandma, sorry for breaking your promise!"

i ran and jumped off my bed to my desk to make an excuse letter.

"okay um.."

"what do i write?"

"hmm."

"dear ms. angel,

my daughter.."

"SHIT. supposed to be son."

i took a new paper and wrote some words that makes the sentences longer. after a couple of minutes, i read the message oug loud so i would understand and see what i should change.

"dear ms. angel,

my son has a fever, we deeply apologize for not being able to contact you sooner. he's absent on december 12, 2020. we hope you understand our situation. kim sunoo will attend classes on december 13, 2020. thank you.

i leaned back on the chair and laughed in evil, "it looks so real!"

i pick up my phone and called hyunjin, well he didn't answer. i called him several times, i started to become worried. "isn't there activities in the school that's why students should go home early?" i mumbled under my breath.

i walked to the kitchen to see someone on the floor, unconscious. i rubbed my eyes and looked again, gone. the body was gone.

"wait, what..?" i looked around confused as always and looked back at the spot where i saw the body laying on the floor.

it was freezing and cold, the snow landed on the my nose. i chuckled as i started to hum and dance to the music in my head.

"you're in my mind, when i'm asleep~" i mouthed. loona's songs always have a special place in my heart. i love how iconic and different their songs are from others.

"i can't deny it, i lose i lose my head~ fight it i do i do~" i sang heartfully, in the pedestrian lane with no people which makes me free to do what i want while talking a quick walk.

i started to blurt out the wrong words in the tune of the music, and danced happily alone.

i wish i were this happy whenever i'm alone.

the doors opened smoothly as i entered the cafe. the place was filled with the modern and elegant designs that made my mouth shape into a letter o.

the smell of the place; cinnamon and coffee, made my lips form into a smile. i was suprised and satisfied by everything in the cafe.

i walked to the counter, seeing a familiar figure. she's here?!

"hello ma'am, what can i ge- sunoo?!" the girl in the counter said, smiling.

"heejin?" i said, with a wide smile.

"i'll get your order first then let's talk!" heejin said as she typed my orders in.

heejin excitedly asks, "how's your day going?" i grinned from ear to ear as i respond, "thanks for asking. it's going pretty well! i'm just stressed from school and all that."

i stuffed the cinnamon bun inside my mouth as she asks again, "where's y/n? i miss your goofy twin." i choked on food, "about that.."

i'm not supposed to tell others about the 'plan' but i couldn't resist telling her. she's very trusted and kept one of my secrets for years. she's honestly one of the best people
out there.

"oh so you're y/n? wow, you and sunoo really look identical." she said while she held my chin so she could get a better look. i sarcastically look at her, giving her an of course look.

i waited for her to finish her shift, she's almost finish so i had to wait for like 30 minutes.

we walked together outside the cafe and talked abiut numerous topics until we reached my house safely.

"wah, i miss this place. remember when sunoo accidentally hit his feet on the glass table,"

"and it shattered into billion of pieces!"

heejin said laughing, i missed her really. she's my everything!

i laughed with her, "it's been years, heejin. i missed you a lot! why'd you leave the apartment so suddenly 2 years ago?" i pouted.

heejin's smile disappeared slowly as i said my words. "well.."

"i don't think i can tell you, y/n."

"yah you're such a cheater! i tell you half of my secrets now it's your turn!"

"it's because.. i liked jay when you were with him so i decided to leave you so i won't hurt your feelings."
