i woke up with cold sweat and tears. i looked at the time, it's 1pm. i shoved my head into the soft pillows as i groaned.

"worst. nightmare. ever." i mumbled in the pillows.

did someone whisper on my ear or was it just my dream? it felt real.

i sat down, trying to feel more refreshed by refreshing my thoughts.

after a couple of minutes, i finally stood up to get a glass of water.

"what the fuck just happened."

y/n's point of view.

it still confuses me that i haven't been sleeping for hours. it's annoying, i couldn't sleep. my mind was full of park jongseong, park jay, and jay.

why was he helping me, protecting me?

as i was zoning out, i heard a loud knock on my door. i slowly walk to the door, the knocking became louder and louder to the point i covered my ears.

i looked through the peep hole, 3 men in black.

but now..

with guns.

my heartbeat began to raise and i suddenly remembered what my mom said.

"when your father's people knock on your door, play this voice message i'll send you. this will make them go away."

my mother's voice echoed inside my head, as i immediately took my phone and played the voice message.

i didn't know what was going on or what it said, i gave all my faith and trust to my mother whom i know will protect me at all times

i slowly opened the door without showing my face as they started to bang on the door, "kim sunoo! open up!"

"yes? oh, kim sunoo? i don't know him, i'm sorry. i think he lives in that street nearby. he left this district, i'm sorry."

wait.. i know who this is..

i looked through the peep hole; one of the men sighed, "okay, thank you sir."

i cried in relief as i was looking through the peep hole. i slammed the door as i silently mouthed, "thank you, mister hwang! you're absolutely the best~"

i jumped on the couch happily, and stopped because of my thoughts.

"how did hyunjin.. wait.. i'm confused.." i sat down as i started texting the boy in the voice message.
