Unexpected Giyuu X Sabito

Chapter 1/ Sabito appears

Narration

It was after the meeting where they decided what to do with the demon Nezuko. All the hashiras' were still gathered and talking while Tomioka Giyuu was standing off to the side waiting for when he was able to leave unnoticed.

Giyuu's point of view

I'm feeling awfully dizzy. I'm pretty sure I've been sick for the past few days and that mission I had yesterday really wore me out. I had to kill a lower moon demon in this state. I hope no one talks to me, if they do they might be able to tell. Great. Shinobu is coming over here.

"Hey Tomioka. What are you doing off to the side like this? Why won't you come and talk to us?" Shinobu said in her normal bright fake happy tone.

I didn't respond. I felt too sickly. I also prefer not to respond to her, no matter what I'll say she'll be mean to me. Better to give her less to work on.

"Ara Ara. Are you too good to talk to us? This is why nobody likes you Tomioka" Shinobu continued

"Please be nicer to Tomioka" Mitsuri interrupted, a little worried

"Shut up Mitsuri. Let her continue." Sanemi said, Obanai immediately glared at him

"Don't be so mean to Mitsuri" Obanai stated.

They continued talking but I stopped hearing their voices. I start hearing how heavy my breathing is. This is where my vision started going black. I knew I was going to pass out. I didn't want to. I didn't want to appear weak in front of them. I know how they are. Whenever someone can't do something they make fun of them for that. I don't need to be told I'm weak when I already know I am. That's when I saw someone a little bit off in the distance coming closer. They looked so familiar. That peach hair. No. That can't be. I must be hallucinating again. That person I'm seeing is dead. They're right in front of me. I see their mouth move. Are they a hallucination? I don't know. This is frustrating. Shit. I'm falling. Who did I just fall on? I black out. 

Sabito's POV

I don't know how it's possible but I'm alive again. All I know is that there was a girl and she did this. I was told that Yuu is a pillar now so I'm here to see him. Damn all the pillars look powerful. I wonder who Giyuu is talking to. He doesn't look too well though.

"Giyuu!" All the hashiras' look at me.

"Who are you?" A purple haired smiling girl asks me.

"I'm Sabito."

Giyuu is staring at me in disbelief. Wait no he actually looks like he's about to pass out. I'm worried now. He's probably sick, and thinks he's hallucinating. I wonder what he's doing out here then? I'm snapped out of my thoughts.

"How do you know Tomioka?" asks a pink haired girl.

How do I answer this? I guess a brief but true answer. Lying isn't good.

"I grew up with him. We had the same teacher."

They look at me confused. One of the guys there looked like he was about to say something but just then, Yuu passed out. I made sure to catch him. All of the hashiras' looked surprised, as if they didn't know something was wrong.

"Yuu! Are you okay?" I waved my hand in front of his face. He was out cold. I put my hand to his forehead. So I was right he is sick. I picked him up.

"Hey can someone show me where he lives?"

The purple haired girl is taken out of her shock.

"Yeah I can, I can also bring you some medical supplies." She gestured for me to follow her.

We make it to his place and I place him in his bed taking off his shoes and haori.

"I'll be right back with the medical supplies."

"Okay"

I leave Giyuu in his room by himself for a moment and go look for a towel, and a bowl I can fill with water. I find the bowl, and towel and a small waterfall with cold water in his back garden that I could fill the bowl with. I hurry back to him and place the towel damp with cold water on his forehead. He looks more peaceful than before.

Although I'm wondering how could have let himself get sick to this state. Back when we were younger, he didn't like saying he was sick either but if it got even kind of bad he would say something. Just then the girl walked back in with some medicine and a few other supplies.

"I'm back" She said walking in

"Thank you for the help....?" I wondered. I never actually caught her name.

"Shinobu kocho." she stated

""Nice to meet you Shinobu"

"Your name was Sabito? Right." I could tell she was just trying to make conversation as she put the supplies down.

"Yeah"

Giyuu moved in his sleep in a way that I could tell he was having a nightmare. I put my hand on his face and he relaxed.

"So what are you to that arrogant idiot?" she said in a sickly tone with now that I notice a constant smile on her face. But I'm more caught up on the fact she called Giyuu arrogant. Giyuu has always been the type to doubt himself and not believe he was good enough.

"Arrogant?" I can't really believe that.

She seems surprised.

"Ara, Ara. You mean he hasn't always been arrogant?'

"How is he arrogant" I'm now kind of annoyed.

"Well i mean he always keeps his distance from us, a lot of the time he won't even talk to us." She states rudely

"Have you guys ever started the conversation nicely?" I now get what happened. Giyuu has always been kind of introverted. He wouldn't ever start a conversation and he used to be scared of almost everything. Although if you approached him he would get used to you and talk to you.

"Of cour-" She cut off

"Ara, Ara. Maybe not." she now seems kind of confused with herself.

"So what are you to him anyway." She continues wanting to change the subject I changed

I don't think she noticed I changed the subject but what I am to Giyuu is kind of confusing. I mean before I died we were best friends and had recently started dating.

"We're bestfriends" I decided that was the easiest thing to state. We are bestfriends even after we started dating.

"I think you should go now and let him sleep in peace. I'll take care of Giyuu. I'm sure he'll only end up waking in the morning."

Shinobu looks at the time

"Ara, Ara your right it is kind of late. Alright take good care of him. I'll come by to check in the morning"

She then leaves. I'm sitting on the floor on a pillow next to Giyuu's bed. I lay my head down on his bed and drift off to sleep next to him.
