Chapter 2

Izuku's pov

"Ok bye mom." I then ran out so I wouldn't be late to school. I've been waking up later than usual for some reason. But I am excited to find out who our new student is.

"You're finally here hurry, there's only a minute left." I walked through the door and saw Uraraka.

"Ok ok. I'll go sit down-" I was interrupted by the bell and Aizawa coming in.

"Today we have a new student so get to know him and stuff. You may come in now Katsuki Bakugou."

Huh.

Wait. The ash blonde male, red eyes, black leather jacket, boots, ripped jeans, and a band shirt. Katsuki Bakugou. So many piercings. Maybe even tattoos? My Katsuki Bakugou?

"Kacchan?" I stood up and ran to him without even thinking as I wrapped my arms around him.

"Woah, get the fu- Deku?" He wrapped his hand behind my waist as I squeezed him tighter as we were about to collapse due to impact.

"Where've you been? Are you ok? What about aunty and uncle? How are you? Are you hurt? Why'd you leave me? What happe-" I was cut off by a hand clapping over my mouth.

"You haven't changed much have you?" He chuckled. How I missed his laugh. I couldn't help but smile and tear up. He quickly whipped away the tears and hugged me again.

"It has been a while hasn't it huh?" I hugged him back.

"What's the meaning of this?" Iida quickly came up to us and did his hand movements and I noticed Kacchan flinch.

"Hey back off." Kacchan quickly recovered and became his old self as he growled at him making him jump back.

"Kacchan, calm down." I grab his hand. He seemed surprised but also happy. Like a puppy who just got a new owner.

"I didn't think a nerd like you would survive to get into Highschool." He went back to his happy side. Is he like Bi-polar or something? I giggle at the thought. Although to be honest it could be a possibility.

"Hey what are you giggling about?"

"You're back!" I went in for another hug.

"And you're extremely touchy." He said but still wrapped his arms around me.

"Wanna ditch the first half of school?" He smirked. I looked around the room to see people with shock and confusion written all over. Should I? My mom thinks I've passed a 'phase'. But it's Kacchan.

"Ice cream?"

"Sure nerd. Let's go." He stuck out his hand for me and I grabbed it as we began to run out.

"Dabi is totally going to be pissed later but whatever!" Hm? Who's Dabi?

"I just got here a month ago but here's a good ice cream shop." He said as we slowed our pace.

"Here it is." We walked in still holding hands.

"Hey brat. Shouldn't you be in school? Tsk tsk. Bad Katsuki. Dabi is totally going to be pissed." A guy with blue hair who appeared a couple years older sat in a chair in front of the counter. He called him Katsuki, are they close?

"Shut up Shigaraki!" Kacchan barked at him.

' "Ok ok. Sorry. Anyway what are you doing? Ditching school on your first day with a boyfriend?" He smirked and Kacchan quickly turned red and let go of my hand.

"No. An old friend. We need to catch up."

Katsuki's pov

This is so embarrassing. Shigaraki caught me with Deku. He thought we were dating. Ugh!

"Fine. How's Aoi?" Aoi was found by Shigaraki behind a dumpster last year. Took Dabi a few days to find Shian.

"She's doing well. She's a kind girl. I think she could be the next leader." I told him as he nodded.

"I agree. Although her only weakness is her brother." We both erupt in laughter at how true the statement is.

"Alright. Well I have to make a round. I was just picking a cup of ice cream for Toga before my run." I nodded in understanding. Toga has a very strong sugar tooth.

"Ok. I'll come over later for a job too." He smiles and leaves.

"Kacchan what was that about?" I forgot about Deku for a second.

"Oh nothing, just a friend." He seemed conflicted between asking further or avoiding the topic.

"Look I can only tell you one thing. Gang. I won't go further into depth about anything else. Ok?" He seemed surprised but nodded anyway.

"Fine Kacchan but you're going to need to explain a little bit at least. You can't just leave me with nothing and come back." We walked up to the counter to order some ice cream.

"You still like mint chocolate chip, right?" He smiles as I remembered his favorite ice cream.

"Plain chocolate?" I smirk.

"Yea. Hasn't changed." I told him.

We grabbed a couple scoops and he said he'd pay. We sat down and he began to talk about how he grew apart from the gang and his mom made him do better.

"So now I'm in UA." He smiled my favorite smile.

"Well I won't talk about why I left or about my parents. But I just moved back here a month ago. I started or was supposed to start school today. I have various friends right now out of school and of course I've joined a gang. I won't tell you why yet though." I told him.

"Hmm. Ok I'll respect that for now but I do want to know that information." He said.

"Ok. Well we should probably go back now. Dabi is totally going to murder me if I ended up skipping the whole day." I chuckle.

"Same with my mom." He said, finishing the last bit of ice cream from his cup.

I kind of feel touch starved, after all these years. The only person who I trust completely, with my life, body, soul, and heart would probably be this stupid nerd.

"Ok it's settled. Let's go back." I already feel like I'm going to be clingy towards him due to the dirty laundry known as my past.

"Yep!" I reached over and grabbed his hand. It's fine. It's just Deku. He won't hurt you.

"You won't hurt me right?" I slapped a hand over my mouth as soon as I blurted that out by accident.

"No. I don't know what happened to you but it must've been awful. I promise I won't. I swear in no way will I ever hurt you Kacchan." He cupped my face and nodded slowly leaning into the touch.

"Thank you, Zu." His eyes sparkled at the old nickname that only comes up when I'm emotional.

"Alright. I don't know who this Dabi person is, but I don't want him to kill you so let's get back before 3rd period so we won't miss too many classes." He slowly released my face as we began to walk out.
