Hoseok's phone was about to die.
It wasn't totally his fault. Ever since Yoongi posted that cover where he played the guitar and Taehyung sang, Hoseok wasn't able to stop replaying it. It gained over eight thousand views already—Hoseok felt like half of those were his own.
He just couldn't get over Taehyung's voice singing those lyrics. He watched it for maybe the hundredth time that morning, soaking in all the details.
In the video, Yoongi sat on a chair, strumming his guitar to make the instrumental of the song, bopping his head along to the rhythm. Taehyung was standing up with a microphone stand in front of him, eyes closed as he sang.
"I know I'll fall in love with you, baby, and that's not what I wanna do. I hope you won't ever lie to me, and if you do I know I won't be your crybaby."
Hoseok's heart did a few somersaults everytime he heard Taehyung sing the word "baby." He didn't realize he was smiling at his phone until someone yanked out his earbud. Jeongguk stood with a disapproving frown.
"You've been watching that all morning, Hoseok."
Hoseok snatched his earbud back. "But his voice, Jeongguk."
"Jimin and I can sing, too! I don't see you acting like this to us!" Then he grinned. "But I should expect this, right? You're crushing on Taehyung hard."
