How do you move on with nothing left?

Tony felt like he had been searching for hours for Peter. He had gone to his old apartment and didn't find anyone so he began looking everywhere in New York. It was 8am and so far he had no luck in finding Peter.

Tony's P.O.V

How the hell can someone just disappear. Actually never mind, he has powers and is half spider. It's 10am and Peter hasn't been seen by any of the avengers. I'm about to give up but then an idea pops into my head "the cemetery!!!" He always goes there when he's feeling down.

I make my way to the cemetery and land a little away from the entrance. And sure enough there he is. Sitting on his knees hunched over his parents graves. He was shaking slightly. I went over to him and put my hand on his back. He flinched slightly from the movement but relaxes when he sees that it's me. HE looks tired and still extremely skinny (no shit Sherlock it's only been 24 hours since we got home),he also looks like he's been crying a lot.

"I'm sorry" I say quietly

He looks at me confused and sniffles a little.

"I'm sorry for letting you down and leaving you alone in this world, but I Will do whatever I can to help you get through this and we just have to stick together." I elaborate

Tears slowly start To crawl down his face again and then he jumps into my arms and hugs me so tight. I'm shocked at the sudden movement but I hug him back. "We will get them back, I promise." I say gently and I feel him begin to cry harder into my chest. We comfort echother for a while until I decide to say "c'mon buddy, let's get something to eat. How about...Pizza?" He nods and we start to walk back to the tower (even though I could fly but the walk was nice).

Once we got to the tower I ordered pizza and it arrived about ten minutes later. Between ordering and it arriving the two of us sat in silence but not awkward silence just...silence.

I know it's weird to say something in the middle of a chapter but I just want to point out that all the other avengers are still at The Avengers compound.

Once the pizza arrived Peter just stared blankly at it and didn't touch anything.
"It'll go cold if you don't eat it" I said jokingly
"I'm..uh...I'm not that hungry" he replied and I was VERY Confused
"Kid,you haven't eaten for almost a month, if it wasn't for the nutrients that Bruce gave you, you'd be dead. You have to eat something sooner or later." I replied sounding concerned, which I was for his health.
He still just started at his food, so I thought I'd say something (again).
"So...I was thinking, since you don't really have anywhere else to go...uhh....so what you say to...uh...come live with me and Pepper...here?" I stuttered out and didn't know what to expect for and answer.
He looked up at me with wide eyes. "R-really? Y-you'd want...me t-to live...with you?" He asks unsure. I nod and give a small smile.
"T-thank you so much Mr.Stark..." I felt my insides warm at the thought of Peter living with me. "...but I... I don't want to be a burden." He finished. I was shocked at what the teenager just said.
"You are anything but a burden, I'd love you to live with me."

Peter started crying and I hugged him. How could this kid be so perfect yet too kind to everyone but himself. We then split apart and bth of us starting eating.

We sat in silence for less than a minute.
"Mr. Stark?" He asked
I just looked at him and smiled slightly to show I was listening. 
"I...uh, I was thinking... I think I wanna be on my own for a while."he says cautiously
"Yeah sure you can have the guest bedroom and come out whenever you're ready" I replied showing my understanding.
"N-no I...I mean that I want to...umm maybe...live by myself and just take...care of..myself.....alone" he stuttered out nervously
