[Louis' POV]

I immediately opened my eyes, being hit by a good smell of strawberry shampoo and a slight tickle to caress my chin. I looked down smiling at the sight of Harry asleep on my chest. My eyes flew open when I had the sensation that someone was stepping on my head. I groaned in pain, accidentally waking Harry in the process. He gave me a sleepy look, "Are you okay?"

I nodded with a faint smile, "Yeah, I just have a headache." He frowned, staring at me, before crouching on my chest, "You're so pale ... I think you've caught a cold." "I'm fine ..." I murmured, placing a kiss on his curls before gasping, "Shit Hazza, school!"

"Stupid, it's Saturday," he chuckled rolling his green eyes. My cheeks flushed as I mumbled, embarrassed, "Oh sure ... I knew."

"Yeah, of course Boo," Harry teased and I chuckled kissing his lips.

"Oh no! Is there anyone at home?" he asked, worried. I thought about it before I said, sighing, "I'm not sure ... oh shit, what if my mom came in and saw us ??"

Harry looked at me wide-eyed and suddenly there was a knock on the door, "Lou are you awake?" I jumped up pushing Harry to the floor. He moaned, but I pressed my hand hard to his mouth, helping him up as he narrowed his eyes, aching. He gave me a dirty look as soon as I motioned him to shut up and threw him in the closet, slipping into bed just in time to see my mother enter.

She smiled, "Oh Louis, you're awake! What a surprise, I usually have to kick you down. "

I chuckled, trying to hide the tension, "I guess it's due to the fact that I slept well tonight." She kissed my forehead before frowning, "You're hot, are you getting a fever, love?"

"It'll just be a cold," I shrugged.

Suddenly we heard a small thud and closed my eyes when I realized it came from the wardrobe. My mother looked at me, intrigued before approaching the closet. I watched her cautiously as she opened it, revealing a Harry twisted into my clothes and holding hangers.

He blushed, muttering an "Oops ..." My mom rolled her eyes, grabbing his arm and pulling it out. I groaned when she asked, "Louis .. Do you kindly want to explain to me why Harry was in the closet?" I stifled a laugh at his ironic tone, before quickly making up a lie, "His... um... he called me crying and so I... went to get him and we talked and he fell asleep... I thought you would be angry so I tried to hide it ... "

She looked at me for a moment, then glanced at Harry, who was trying to look guilty and sighed, "Okay ... just ... you could have asked, now I'll make you some soup, because I think you have a little fever. I don't understand why he came like this... "she walked away, confused, before leaving, slamming the door.

"I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to, it's just that I thought I saw an insect and I tripped and got tangled in my clothes and- "

"It's okay love," I said interrupting him. He snorted before lying down on the bed next to me. I gave him a kiss on the forehead, confessing, "I think we should be more careful." Harry frowned, asking, "I thought you'd stop hiding it ..."

"No ... I just stopped hurting and hurting you," I said, confused as to why he was thinking that. He replied with a sad face, "What? So do I have to keep accepting to see you and Eleanor dating? Should I accept being ignored all the time at school?"

"I just don't want to come out yet ..." I admitted, immediately feeling guilty. "Louis!" Harry's eyes began to fill with tears, "I can't ... I can't be with you knowing that she can touch and hug you, that she can kiss you, that she can have sex with you ...!"

"Please don't go away, you-you said you wouldn't leave me!" I pleaded with him, shaking his hand. He sighed, looking rather in conflict with himself, "I ... I ..."

"I'll let go," I said, desperate, "I will protect you. I will not go out with anyone but you."

"Really?" he asked, slightly surprised. I nodded, "Yes, I swear to you! Just please ... I need you. " He smiled shyly before placing a kiss on my lips. I quickly pulled back, regretting it instantly when I saw a hurt expression cross his face, "No, no! It's just that I don't want you to get sick ... "

An affectionate smile made its way to his face, "Oh ok ... I love you." I opened my eyes slightly, then grinned, telling him softly, "I love you too, my angel." Harry blushed slowly and I kissed his temple holding him in a hug, the only thing I could do since I couldn't kiss him.

"Louis! Harry! The food is ready! " my mother called to us.

I patted him lightly on the butt and pouted, "Louis! Don't touch my butt! "

"But it's mine," I chuckled, pleased. He snorted, but didn't disagree, and then we went down the stairs, noticing all my sisters sitting around the table. The twins were laughing as Fizzy and Lottie bickered and my mom smiled at us as we walked in, "Here you go, guys." I grabbed the bowls and Harry thanked her, then we took our seats across from Lottie and Fizzy. Lottie looked at Harry, confused, "When did you arrive?"

He was about to answer but I interfered, "Hazza came last night, he needed someone to talk to and we fell asleep." Fizzy stared at me warily, "So ... he slept in your bed?" Harry blushed and my mom looked at us when I said, "Um yeah, but it's not what it looks like ..." He nodded slowly, with a bewildered look and I ignored her, sipping my soup, Harry looking paranoid and the girls who kept glancing at him all through breakfast. I took a look at my mother, observing him as she looked at us curiously. Why did everyone do it? Were we so obvious?

Ignoring all worries, I simply finished my food and Harry told me he would go to the bathroom. The girls ran up in their rooms to play. I was about to do the same when my mom asked, "Louis, could you help me with the dishes?" I was a bit shocked by his request, but I shrugged and grabbed the towel to pass it over the dishes.

There was silence until she asked me nonchalantly, "So you and Harry are friends?" I acted trying to be as natural as possible, nodding, "Yeah, he's pretty nice."

"You seem very close lately, you two ..." she came out, curious.

I hid my tension, telling her, "Well, I mean, we hang out a lot together and plus we go to the same school." She nodded, passing me the last plate, "Ok, okay ... so why was she crying last night?"

"It's personal," I replied quickly, before starting to climb the stairs, "Hi." He nodded to me and I entered my room, greeted by Harry's smile, "It took you forever."

"I think she's keeping an eye on us," I confessed calmly, closing the door and sitting next to him on the bed.

He frowned, his eyes scared, "Oh god ..."

"I know ... we have to take it slow, okay?" I said softly. He nodded sympathetically, "Yes, I understand ... as long as you don't go out with anyone else I don't care ... but keep the kisses aside just for me ... except now that you're sick." I chuckled and placed a kiss on his cheek, "Don't worry ... I won't hurt you anymore, I can't afford this risk ..."

"Well," Harry grinned, "I love you Boo."

"I love you too, my angel," I replied with a smile.
