Chapter 10 - Boxes & Bags

Kiera woke up to Caylus for the first time in months! She couldn't express how thankful she was. They had figured things out like they always did. She got up and headed for the shower. She felt so happy and loved that her smile didn't waver. She had a visible spring in her step as she prepared breakfast for the most important person in her life right now.

The love of her life, soulmates, if you must.

Suddenly, she thought about they had been though, she decided that although there had been a lot of suffering, she was only going to remember this as a positive experience. They had both learned how being stubborn and not communicating with your partner (well in this case ex-partner) can affect each other negatively. Everything had turned out well and everyone had consequences for their actions accept Caylus' parents. Her blood boiled as she thought about them. About how they had insulted and tore her down, bit by bit. About how they took away the only constant in her life, Caylus. They hadn't even considered how Caylus, their own son, would feel being pulled away from the woman he wanted to marry. 

Wait- Marriage? She hadn't thought about whether Caylus wanted to marry her or not. She didn't mind but she didn't want to rush it. If they were going to get married, it would be on the day they met. And yes, although someone who hurt her in the past was there, she wouldn't let it ruin her special day. 

As Kiera daydreamed about her wedding ideas, her wedding dress, and the bridesmaids she was going to invite, a pair of hands covered her eyes. She was a bit shocked at first but as soon as she heard the culprit's voice she laughed,

"Wait- Caylus what are you doing." 

Caylus meanwhile tried to change his voice in an attempt for her not to recognize him,

"I can tell that that's your voice." said Kiera.

" I'm- I'm kidnapping you" said Caylus, using a woman's voice. 

"Oh never mind, it's not Caylus." she laughed.

Kiera quickly tried to turn around to catch Caylus off-guard. Instead, she ended up falling straight into his arms. He immediately caught her. She looked up to find Caylus trying not to laugh while trying to hide the fact he was about to laugh at her with a worried look on his face. Kiera rolled her eyes and giggled, a sound, that you know by now, made Caylus' heart soar. He stopped everything he was doing just to listen to her laugh, it was something he treasured.

The position they were in was a bit awkward so they couldn't stay long staring at each other. Kiera announced she was moving back in, it looked like they had sorted everything out and Caylus even seemed comfortable with the idea, he even offered to take her to her apartment, but on the condition that he would at least get one tour before she moved out. 

They had their half-burnt scrambled eggs for breakfast (which Kiera blamed the burning on Caylus because "he disturbed her") and toast before heading out to start the moving process. The whole thing took several days and they both got home each day more exhausted than the last. But, just having each other as company made the end of the day something to look forward to, because they would cuddle until they both fell asleep in each other's arms. And wake up surrounded by the same warmth. It was pure bliss.

By the end of the week, Kiera was settled back into his apartment. They had spent most of their time together anyways, so this wasn't any different. Both Caylus and Kiera decided to finally tell his fans what was going on, so they filmed a video explaining what happened posted it to their channels. They were nervous, as they didn't know what to expect, but Kierlus stans did not hold back, they showed immense support towards them and were happy that they decided to tell them. Overall, it was a good day. Caylus, as usual, had fallen asleep first and Kiera fell asleep later, with, of course the small smile on her face.

They were woken up by the sound of Caylus' phone ringing, it was his parents..
