Narrator
Alejandro is inside the truck with his fellow soldiers. They're coming home for Christmas after a war.
"Woah woah stay." Alejandro calmed the small puppy in his arms. He found him inside the camp while shaking due to shock.
"He must be excited" Miguel, one of the other soldier said.
"Yeah. I think so" Alejandro replied while rubbing the puppy's head.
"Give him a name." Joshua said.
"Nah. Y/n will be the one to name him since it's for her." Ale replied.
They arrived infront of Alejandro and y/n's house. "Bye enjoy your Christmas" he waved goodbye to his friends.
The dog started barking and started to wiggle it's tail. "This is your new house."
It's nearly midnight and he's sure that y/n's already asleep. He took his keys out and opened the door.
He saw the christmas tree up and other decorations. "Stay there ok?" He left the small puppy under the small coffee table in the living room.
Alejandro went to their shared room quietly as possibly. He opened the door and saw her sleeping on her side but she shifted and woke up.
"Hi babe." He said softly while coming near her and kissed her lips. "Did i wake you up?"
"No." She replied while stretching. She's still half asleep and when she realize that she's talking to Alejandro, she hugged him immediately tight.
"Omg I missed you!" She squealed. "Woah ok. I misses you too ofcourse." He laughed
"Why didn't you tell me that you will go home?" She asked as she sat at the bed again.
"It's obviously a surpri-" but he's been cutted off by the puppy barking loud while running and jumping to the bed.
"Oh my god!" She squealed again in excitement.
"He should be a surprise." Ale said.
"Where did you get him?"
"From the camp. He's shaking and so dirty when we found him." Ale explained.
"What's his name?" "Its up to you since he's yours now."
"What about Choco?" She asked while smile plastered on her face. He just shrugged his shoulders.
"Just take care of him ok?"
"Ok dad." Answered sarcastically but still laughed at the end.
"Thank you for the Christmas gift Ale." She said while pecking his lips. "Sorry i dont have any for you."
"There's no need. Seeing you this Christmas is enough Christmas gift for me" Alejandro said softly while leaning in and kissed her passionately.
He pushed her down the bed while Choco jumped off.
I guess Alejandro will still have his Christmas gift after 9 months;)
