Blue nuzzled into Nightmares chest, longing for affection from the dark king. Nightmare groaned and put his quill down. He looked at the small one in his lap.

"You're really a pain, you do relize that?" Nightmare said.

"Mhm! Now go back to your work, I'm not bothering you!" Blue spoke.

"Yes, because sticking to me like glue is 'not bothering' me." Nightmare stated, standing up.

Blue didn't detach himself, he just stayed there. Nightmare chuckled.

"You use your smallness as my weakness." He said, patting the smaller one as he turned to his bed.

  Blue smiled, "Now, love me!" He demanded.

  Nightmare rolled his eyes and peeled Blue off him with his tentacle. He placed Blue on the bed and crawled behind him, plopping down.

  "I said love me, not fall asleep.." Blue muttered.

  Nightmare was about to respond before someone knocked on the door. Blue hopped up, knowing exactly who it was. He opened the door and hugged the other.

  "Gah- Blue!" The monster stumbled backwards, almost falling, from the sudden moment.

  "Shattered! What a surprise!" Nightmare said sarcastically.

  "Yeah, yeah, I know it amazing to see me, octopus." Shattered said, trying to peel off Blue.

  "You're never going to get him off. You do relize that, right?" Nightmare said, stacking a pile of papers onto the floor.

  "Blue.. I-" Shattered began to speak but Blue whined, staying attached to one of Shatters thicker tentacles.

  Shattered rolled his eyes and walked to the bed, falling face first onto it. Blue slid off the tentacle and sat onto the bed. Nightmare crawled onto the bed beside Blue and pulled him close. He wrapped his tentacles around his limbs and his arms around his chest in a protective form.

  "You don't have to do this.." Blue mumbled and pushed Nightmares hands away.

  "I just don't want him to try and cuddle with you." Said the king, kissing Blue's head.

  Blue rolled his pupils and leaned back, trying to get comfortable. He sighed and closed his eyes, turning his head to the side. Nightmare chuckled and pulled the shorters legs up to the others chest.

"I love you!" Blue said with a smile.

  "We love you too~" Nightmare and Shattered purred at the same time.
