A/N: It's a chapter because he isn't writing.

I waited a few minutes in my room, but I got bored instantly, so I went downstairs. I stepped into the kitchen and grabbed a few cherry tomatoes out of the fridge. I decided to wait for her outside on the front porch.
A small while passed, and I could see Sakura coming from the end of the street. She waved to me. I nodded, but I'm not sure if she saw that.
"Hey, Sasuke-kun." She was panting because she ran the whole way here. "What did you need to talk to me about?" I asked, getting straight to the point.
"Sheesh, not even a hello?" I Hn'd.
"Well, to be honest, I don't really know how to say this.. It's about that new guy." I knew it, dammit. "Oh, really?" I asked, falsely amused.
"He asked me out today." She began.
"Yeah, and?"
"I rejected him. Look, Sas.. I know about you." She glanced away. I stared at her. "I know you like guys.. and I can clearly see that you like this one." My heart started pounding. Is it that obvious? "H-How did you know this? I didn't tell you that I liked anyone."
"Sasuke, we've been friends since elementary school. I know you. Hell, I've liked you, myself, before I found out you were gay. You never looked at me the way you look at him. You've never looked at anyone that way. You actually seem.. interested." She confessed.
"Yeah, you have a point." I admitted bitterly. "Of course I do. I'm always right, Sasuke."
"But, hold on. Why would you reject him if he's straight. He doesn't like boys so I don't have a chance with him, anyway."
"To be honest, he's not my type. He's annoying." She sighed. I Hn'd again.

"Well... Do you want to go out to eat or something? I'm getting kind of hungry." Sakura suggested. "Sure, just let me go get my wallet. Do you want to come in while I'm upstairs?" I asked. "Yeah, sure."
"Alright, but you have to be quiet. My mom is asleep in the den."

We walked into Denny's and some bimbo waitress seated us.
"Hello, my name is Ino and I will be your server this evening. Today's soup special is Pumpkin with a goat cheese-thyme topping. Would you like anything to drink?" The waitress spoke her lines.
"I'll have a Sprite." Sakura said. "Okay, and you sir?" She winked at me. I sighed in disgust. "Water." "Alright, they'll be here shortly." We nodded as she walked off.
"Tch. She is annoying." I crossed my arms. "Oh, c'mon, Sasuke. She's nice!" "You're not a man, you wouldn't understand."
"C'mon, Sas, don't be mean!" Sakura nagged. I looked away from her, hoping to get away from annoyance. That didn't go very well. In the direction I faced, I could see a blonde haired man waiting a table across the room from us. His voice traveled through the room. It was unmistakable. It was Naruto.
