I was still upset over El and Mike but I totally understand, someone as pretty as her is bound to have a boyfriend so now, I will befriend her and get closer to her. The next morning, I approached her during class. I waved 'Good morning to her' but she didn't reply. I got worried and asked her what was going on. She looked at me with tears on her face.
"El, what's wrong?" she sniffed.
"Nothing." she didn't say anything else after that. After class, I ran to her and tapped her shoulder.
"Did I do something to upset you?" I asked her.
"No, I'm not mad at you. It's something else,"
"What is it?" I was getting more curious by the minute.
"Its Mike..." That son of a b-
"W-we fight. And he got mad," I wanted to smack Mike in the head and knock some sense into him. No way he will hurt El's feelings again.
"What was it about?"
"I can't tell," she said hesitantly.
"But why can't you tell? Was it about me?" I frowned just thinking about it.
"No- yes," she sighed.
"Look El, you can trust me alright? Mike is delusional. I will never hurt you okay?" she looked at me for a very long time. Then we shared a smile.
"Do you want to go somewhere?" she asked me.
"Umm sure!" I smiled and stayed cool but my insides however, they were screaming with delight.
"I will see you later after-school then?"
"Sure!" we exchanged a hug and she ran back to Mrs. Click's History class while I went to Mr. Mundy's Math class.
