Eleven:
I was walking out when I saw Max running towards me.
"El! EL! Wait up!" she was waving her arms around. Wow, Max is usually chilled out but she is risking her reputation for me? I blushed at the thought of it.
"El," she was panting, "I need to talk to you."
"What? I am going home,"
"I want to talk to you, DESPERATELY," she looked at me with puppy eyes, I couldn't leave her like that.
"Ok, what do you want to talk about?" I asked.
"Why were you crying?" she asked me. This was what I was trying to avoid. I decided to tell her the truth.
"I-I couldn't sleep,"
"That's it? Something is up El, don't lie to me. I can see it in your eyes," Damn it, she knows. I sighed, I can't hide this much longer.
"I had bad dreams,"
"About what?" she seemed determined.
"Look, if I tell you, don't run away ok?" I was so scared that she wouldn't be friends with me anymore.
"I promise El, I would NEVER run away from you ok? Don't think of that because I will NEVER abandon you. No matter who you are." she stroked my cheek and I held her hand, it was comforting.
"I-I have powers Max..."

Max:
When she told me that my heart dropped a little. A part of me wished she confessed she liked me but this was fine. I didn't know how to feel. But I wanted to know.
"What kind of powers?" I asked.
"I-its complicated. I can move things with my brain, crush stuff," she looked around to see if anyone was watching and demonstrated by crushing a can of coke from the bench. I looked at her in awe.
"That is SO cool! What else can you do?"
"A lot. Are you going to run away from me now?" she looked like she was embracing for impact.
"No, I will never do that alright. In fact,  I am going to do the opposite." I kissed her passionately. I guess it was an instinct of mine, but I was enjoying it.

Eleven:
I was bracing for the fact that my only friend would probably run away from me. But I couldn't hide it anymore, I NEEDED to tell her. Then she leaned over and kissed me, I didn't know what to feel after that. I felt guilty because to be honest, I actually wanted her to do that. I smiled and hugged her, I ran to Mike's house happily. But he was waiting outside the door with arms crossed.
"We need to talk El," he had no expression whatsoever and it scared me.
