"Well," I say, looking at the Clock, "It's almost 10:00, we have some time to kill. What do you say we set up for the best sleepover ever, Bex?"
The small girl jumps up, and begins to hop in excitement. "Yeah!" I grin at her energy, and we have Hannah and Audrey grab our Sleepover Supplies. Dex decides to go find Lex and Rex, seeing if they want to go swimming in the castle's swimming pool.
We wave him out the door, and begin to move some of my things out of the way for the supplies. Soon, the girls arrive with our stuff, and we help them set up the spa Supplies, the T.V., and the Pillow fort.
I run into my closet, as Bex starts up a conversation with Audrey, and I grab the gifts I want to give Bex.
As I walk out of the Closet, I call Bex over to the couch. She sits, her day dress falling around her legs, into a crooked semicircle. Using telekinesis, I lift the Presents toward her, from the closet doorway.
Her eyes light up, and she grabs one from the air. Opening it up, she pulls out a small Alicorn Stuffed animal. "Elwin named it Mrs. Sparkles, but you can change it." I say, and she hugs it to her chest. Elwin is the Palace's Physician.
"Elwin's nice. Though, you sure spend lots of time there!" She jokes, and I laugh. She's not wrong. I'm accident prone!
Over the course of the next hour, Bex, me, and the rest of the maids set up for the Sleepover. So, when I look at the time, with only a half-hour until I meet with Wylie, I quickly freshen up, and begin the walk to the Gardens.
. . .
(Wylie's Point of View)
I slowly walk out of the Castle Library, with a book or two in my Hands, when I run into a Maid.
"I'm so Sorry!" I exclaim, as I offer her a hand up. She looks around my age, with wavy Blonde Hair, and Light Blue Eyes.
"Your fine. Thank You for helping me up!" She says, and grabs a letter addressed to me. "Her Majesty asked me to give this to you!" She says, and Passes the Parchment over to me.
I thank her, and she walks away, towards the Dining Room. I turn around and begin walking towards my room.
Minutes later, I'm sitting on a couch, opening my Letter, and reading through the Contents. A small smile creeps onto my face, and I begin to get ready. I try to brush back my short cropped hair, but it just stays put. Oh Well.
I look at the time, and with only 20 Minutes to meet the Princess, I begin the Long walk to the Gardens.
. . .
(Sophie's Point of View)
As I enter the Gardens, a Tall, Muscular, Shadow begins to walk next to me, and I know exactly who it is.
"Hello, Miss. Foster." The Squeaky voice says, and I turn, a Huge Grin Plastered across my Face.
"Hey, Sandor." I reply back, holding back my laugh.
Sandor's voice always cracks me up, as he's a huge 7 foot tall Goblin, but has a very squeaky voice, not matching his appearance at all.
We walk in silence, wandering over to Calla's Panacake Tree, the Multi-colored Blossoms floating all around us. I hold out my hands, and several land softly onto my hands, and I breath in the Heavenly Scent.
Sandor and I walk around for several more minutes, and soon we reach a Red and White Checkered Blanket, which was covered with food, including several different desserts. Ripplepuffs, Mallowmelt, Butter Blasts, and several other delicacies.
"I'll leave you to your Date, Miss. Foster." Sandor says, and he begins to walk away to patrol the Garden, as Wylie walks up to me, and gives a bow.
I blush, and lightly smile. "Hello, Wylie."
"Your Majesty." He answers back, and I tuck a stray strand of hair back into place, and begin to guide Wylie over to the small Picnic Blanket.
I pour myself some Lushberry Juice, and place a few custard Bursts onto my plate, along with a piece of Mallowmelt.
Wylie quickly fills up his own, and I begin to ask him about his home life.
"Well," He begins. "I'm an only child. I live with my father now, as my Mother faded away in a light-leap accident, and my Dad had some mental issues, like fragmented memories. So, while he was healing, I was living with Tigeran." He says, and I notice his eyes start to get glassy.
"I'm so sorry! I had no idea!" It was quite rare for elves to die, so this was a hard thing to take in. "My parents had a daughter before me, but she died in a fire before I was born." I say quickly.
"I'm sorry. I heard Princess Jolie was an amazing person, and also about my mother, it's okay. Not many knew, as we lived in a more secluded area of the Lost Cities." He replies, I try to change the subject.
"What are your friends like back home?" I ask, curiosity laced into my voice. I'd been to many different places in the Lost Cities, but it was hard to get around without a recording device being shoved into your face, or a camera flashing. It doesn't help that I don't like so much attention shoved my way, but I'm a princess. So, that means I get to deal with it. Yay.
"Their Cool. I don't really get to see them anymore, as they're off doing their jobs, or in their Elite Levels." Wylie explained, finishing off his butter blast, and moving on to a slice of Mallowmelt.
I grin, and begin eating my slice as well, seeing as Mallowmelt is my favorite elvin food. We keep talking about life here in the palace, or in the cities.
After a while, we begin a long walk around the Gardens, as it was only around 1 o'clock. We continue to chat, and I know now that even if wylie isn't my perfect match, we'll still be great friends after all this.
He's polite, but also quiet and reserved. Even with all of this, he's still pleasant to be around, and have a nice long conversation with. A few hours later, we say goodbye, and I walk back to my room, feeling refreshed, after the walk, and being able to catch a few Panacakes Blossoms, and say Hello to some of the Gnomes. Though, In only a few hours, I'd be off on my next one.
