backstory:
This story takes place a couple of weeks after the Carstairs arrive in London (except for Elias of course). This is an AU where Belial has not caused any threat to the nephilim, meaning there is no mandikhor demon attacks and James is not being pulled into the shadow realm along with grace not trying to force herself onto James. This does not mean that the Herondale children do not have powers, because they still do, just that Belial is not in the picture.
