Neil came home in rage. He fisted his hair hardly trying to be calm but it didn't help him at all. He just couldn't able to digest the fact that avni refused to come London. For the first time he was angry on her for doing this.

He tried to persuade prakash his father to not let him send to London but he didn't agree making him more frustrated over himself. Everything got settled in two days. Neil had to go the next day to London. He hadn't talked with avni in these two days thinking avni would come herself to pacify him or she might change her mind and get agree to go with him but nothing as such happened. She didn't even message him to make some general conversation. Neil was in dilemma thinking what to do and what not to. And the night passed. Probably the hardest and difficult night he had felt.

Next day khanna's got ready to see off neil by going with him to airport. Neil kept his last bag in the car and turned around facing everyone. Avni was also there looking everywhere but neil. He kept looking at her for few seconds then Sighed and went near her. He hugged her tightly caressing her hair and her tears started streaming off her eyes that she was holding since so long.

She reciprocated the hug biting her lips hard to not let out out a sob but failed and she started sobbing in his arms. He shook his head but kept patting her head and back. Ashish cleared his throat and neil looked at him. They broke the hug and avni wiped her tears. Her face was red due to crying but in this mess she looked even more prettier and cute.

Neil: itna hee miss karegi toh chal na mere saath London

Avni looked at him sniffing and shook her head looking down making him pissed. He rubbed his forehead and Sighed.

Neil: fine. bye then.

Saying this he got into the car without sparing her a glance and drove away taking her heart with himself. Avni stood there watching him disappearing from her sight and felt like she was alone now. Her other half, her reason of happiness and peace had gone leaving her restless, lonely and left her with her empty soul.

Neil reached the airport and got out from the car. Juhi and her parents were standing there waiting for them. Neil hugged his parents and his mother started crying caressing his face. He consoled her and both neil and juhi departed from there and went inside for checking.

Neil was still lost, already feeling bad and devoid without his bestfriend. Juhi kept her hand on his shoulder seeing him lost and he flinched not sensing the touch familiar.

Juhi: vo sorry tum thik ho na?

He just nodded smiling faintly and got back to his oblivious ness again.

After 2 years

London

Neil was sitting lost gazing at the photo frame. Her captivating smile, natural beauty and their moments kept playing in his mind driving him more restless than before. His friend Alex came out after getting ready and looked at neil.

Alex: hey neil we are getting late. Come on get ready fast.

Neil's trance broke and he looked at him. Smiling faintly he nodded and went to get ready. After sometime they both went to the venue where party was gonna arrange. Neil was happy as he could now go back to his home, to his family and to his dearest cum sweetheart. To His special person.

Alex spotted juhi in the centre of party hall and nudged Neil making him aware of her. Neil looked at juhi then at him and rolled his eyes shaking his head.

Alex: what? Aren't you happy to see her after a whole week? I thought you missed her.

Neil: Alex please it's nothing like that.

Alex kept quiet looking at his pissed off face. Juhi turned around when her friend told her that neil has came. She was desperately waiting for him and this moment to come. A whole week she was busy in doing something. Something for neil to express her feelings.

She came near him and everyone went silent. Neil looked on confused at her then at everyone. She goes down on her knees making neil shocked. She had a ring in her hand and was smiling looking at him.

Juhi: I know I had hurted you before but now I want to heal you. Thank you for waiting for me neil. Thank you for giving me time and to make me realise that you are someone that I will cherish forever. I love you so much neil and I know you also do. I am really sorry for making you wait for so long. But finally I realized my feelings that I love you so much.

Juhi said while a constant smile was playing on her lips. Everyone clapped and whistled hooting for them. Neil looked at her and closed his eyes raking fingers in his hair. Her smile faded watching his reaction and he looked at her in guilt.

Few moments later:

Neil's back was facing juhi. She was weeping silently. While silence prevailed over there.

Neil: I am really sorry juhi, I know I have created a huge mess in our lives. Especially you and her. I should not have done that. I mistook infatuation as love. It wasn't love. If it was love then my feelings for you would have grown much stronger but it didn't happen. I thought I have serious feelings for you but

He closed his eyes not able to say further and juhi went from there crying without saying anything. Neil stood there gaping at the sky. He could see HER face in the moon making him smile instantly.

Alex came there and put his hand on Neil's shoulder. Neil looked at him and Sighed.

Alex: tell me one thing neil. You had told me that you had proposed juhi 2 years back now what happened? Why are you doing this to her.

Neil: I am an idiot. It wasn't love alex I misunderstood everything. Mai galat chizo ko importance de betha. You always asked me na that whose photo I keep looking all the time?

Alex nodded. Neil took out his phone and showed him his wallpaper. It had avni's photo.

Alex: she is avni your best friend right?

Neil looked at him astonished as to how he know her.

Alex: don't be confused. Juhi once told me about her and had showed her picture.

Neil nodded and looked at her photo.

Neil: you know I never thought that I could get away from her. She was always with me since childhood to till we grew. The thought of living without her never crossed in my mind but this distance made me realise what I actually feel about her. I never knew I have this much love and affection for her until I came here. I should be thankful to her as well that she denied for coming here otherwise I would have never realised her importance in my life. I realized how much I love my best friend but was dumb to not understand the depth of it.

Alex patted his back watching him going emotional.

Neil: I made a huge blunder. 2 years, since 2 years I haven't talked to her. Only I know how I lived in this mess and without her. When she was crying and was hurt because of me I couldn't able to understand the reason behind it but now I know, she was going through the same feelings that I am feeling right now. So helpless and bad. How could I hurt her, my love, my everything.

By the end of it Neil started crying imagining her hurtful face when she was getting hurt because of him.

Alex: hey neil please calm down my friend. Don't be sad you are gonna go tomorrow right? Sort out everything and tell her how much you love her.

Neil looked at him and nodded smiling. He just couldn't wait for tomorrow. He had waited for this day, this moment desperately. At least one good thing happened living without her was that he got to know what he was missing and whom. That he had feelings for her deep inside his heart but he understood it now. That sometimes we often makes mistakes choosing the right one and ended up choosing the wrong one. That the feelings tend to stay the same no matter how far you go.
