Today was the day of farewell party. Neil was on cloud nine and was way too excited to Express his feelings for someone. Someone he thought to be his soulmate but sometimes our heart can be wrong. We often misunderstood the feelings of love to infatuation.

He got ready in his selected outfit and took out a box of ring.

Neil: I am way too nervous right now. You always runaway whenever I brought the topic of love but today I won't leave you.

He chuckled and grabbed the key of his car. He first went to avni's house. She was upstairs getting ready in her room and neela ma was also with her trying to make her understand that she will look more beautiful if she would apply make up but avni was denying.

Neil barged inside her room without knocking and his eyes popped out of its socket seeing the ethereal beauty avni. Today was something different he could not take his eyes off her.

Neela ma cleared her throat watching neil being lost in avni. She always had the thought of avni and Neil being together as life partners. She also respected their bond their friendship but she doesn't wanted to see avni without neil.

His reverie broke and he looked away being embarrassed by his own behaviour. No doubt she was looking breathtakingly beautiful but the way he was staring was something weird to him.

He shrugged it off and grabbed avni's hand bidding bye to neela ma. They came out of the house and avni went near car and was about to open the door but neil turned her swiftly and hugged her tightly.

He had noticed her gloomy face and her behaviour since yesterday was bothering him to the core. Avni shut her eyes and just feel him close to her heart. At that time she only wanted this someone's shoulder to cry. She bit her lips to control the storm of her tears.

Neil: chal bata ab kya hua. Kisine kuch kaha? Meri kisi baat se naraz hai?

He asked still being in hug. She shook her head wiping the tears that started flowing.

He broke the hug and cupped her face.

Neil: toh phir ye mote mote aansu kyu?

Avni: kuch nahi bas papa ki yaad aa rahi hai. Itne din ho gaye unko dekha nahi isliye

She lied. He chuckled and shook his head.

Neil: itni si baat par kon rota hai? Such a cry baby you are.

He smacked on her forehead lightly.

Neil: and it's good because agar vo yaha hote toh hame ese saath thodi na jaane dete right?

She nodded wiping her tears. He smiled and wiped off her face with his palm and both got inside the car and drove to college.

After sometime they reached there. Neil was desperately searching for someone. Avni noticed this and she also started looking here and there.

She was prepared beforehand. She knew they are not meant for each other. She has to suppress her feelings. It can ruined the bond and relationship that they shared.

Juhi came there and hugged both of them.

Juhi: kesi lagi arrangement? I did it with my classmates

Neil smiled and whispered in her ear.

Neil: just like you, beautiful

Juhi chuckled and shook her head. Avni looked away feeling like a third wheel in between them.

Juhi: you won't change mr.flirty neil Khanna

He shrugged his shoulders.
