Josiah POV
I pulled into a house. I saw Savanna and Auriela dashing into the woods. Auriela was in a white sundress and Savanna was in a red skirt and white t - shirt. I grabbed my shotgun and jumped out. Then I saw Alex. Chasing them with a shotgun. I dashed.
Then he pulled the trigger and shot Auriela. I gasped but kept running. He could have killed her. Savanna was next to her. She was sobbing. Alex pointed the gun at her.
"We can be together in heaven." He said. I pulled the gun up and pulled the trigger. He fell down. I had shot him in the lower back. Twice. I dropped my gun and ran to Auriela. She was unconscious. I dialed 911.
Not ten minutes later, sirens echoed through the neighborhood.
Savanna POV
After Auriela had fallen, I rushed over to her and knelt besides her. I started sobbing. My baby. She was going to die. Then Alex pointed the gun at me. All of our past flashed through my mind. How he hit me. How he rescued me. How he beat me.
"We can be together in heaven." He said. Then he fell with a bang. There stood my Josiah. He rescued me and Auriela. I would have given him a hug but Auriela is on the verge of dying. He called 911.
